What criteria does one need to be able to view the sale threads in this forum... I'd quite like to see what people have for sale here

Cheers

Don't know about the specifics of the sales forum. But, recently the site has become heaps more complex. There is an increased amount of exclusion and privilege for some reason. I still come here because I'm a fan of Transformers and toys from the 1980's in general... it's just less welcoming.

It's unfortunate that it has become less welcoming, but that's thanks to the actions of one spoiling it for everyone else.

Well hopefully he wont get back in, and I hope that he doesnt get info from others here.

Still, this place is enjoyable and I have met some cool people from here, at meets and by trading.

The admin/board staff are only reacting to the selfish and annoying behaviour of one person. Don't blame them, blame that one particular individual for ruining it for everyone else!!

I guarantee that if any new member is legit, they will find this forum is one of the best, most helpful, and friendliest online communities ever! :)

I don't think he's blaming anyone. I think they're just [natural] observations, regardless of their cause.

i don't find it less welcoming. it's a necessary precaution.
and if the only reason someone is joining the forum is to buy/sell, well that's not the point of the forum, it's a perk and the board staff have now changed the registration process so that it truly is a perk to access saleyards.
