It looks like it's related to your location, I noticed added postage when I tried to send some things to a different address than I usually do so I did some testing.
When using a postcode between Liverpool and the city it shows free postage for voyagers but when I use postcodes from suburbs further out, such as Campbelltown and Penrith, it shows a postage charge.

Bit late to this but I got siege barricade from transformers outlet. Was quick, well packed etc wouldn't hesitate to use again if vouchers apply. Same deal MERCURY RETAIL etc.

Has anyone bought from nt_toys ? I jumped on siege ratchet when they dropped the price under $60 but over 3 weeks later have yet to receive. When I followed up after 2 weeks they stated it had been posted but taking longer due to holiday season and they would find the tracking number yet have not produced it.

It was the first thing I bought on a long splurge picking up figures I missed or passed since 2016 (from takara metroplex united warpath/thunderwing, up to aforementioned barricade, rainmakers), as well as a bunch of kitchen stuff. I have literally recieved at least 1 parcel from Australia post every business day since 9th December, with someone always home to recieve, from 3 diff states in US, Vancouver, Japan, HK, China, SG, Melbourne, Sydney. Since at least two of those sellers look to be legit traders, I'm thinking that they could be selling agents (for commission), and the actual owner of the toy has offered it to all three stores to sell it... so that when one sells it, the other listings would be removed. I guess they don't expect more than one listing to sell at the exact same time, and if they did, they'd probably just message one of the buyers that the item was removed from sale.
There's probably nothing in the ebay rules to prevent it if each agent listing it was not aware of the others, but I think it would actually drive up the secondary price, as other people will think that it is the going rate (even if they don't sell), and it will affect the ebay system's average pricing recommendations (when listing something or looking at a similar item).

They are basically a more "official" looking version of Reprolables for G1 toys from a Chinese (might be HK) based company.

In Ipswich, which is a 40 min drive from mine, but then I don't have my own car and mostly use public transport so it'd be hard. Would definitely have tried that if they were much closer.

Is anyone else annoyed by Ebay America's Global Shipping Program charging a separate amount for "import charges" that is a lot more than just GST's 10% (for me it is usually about double GST when the order is under US$100).

The GSP already makes money from bumping up their Shipping Charge, but after we had to start paying GST on imports, they are padding out the import charges as well, making two lots of profit.

You can't get out of the GSP (very few people offer international shipping themselves now), and they don't let you combine shipping on multiple items, but now this just seems to be one more reason to avoid Amazon America... which is really annoying, as a lot of obscure items I want are only ever on there (because they didn't come out here).

Just as a follow up, this auction became a shemozzle with people pulling the pin on their bids and making offers everyday. In the end it sold, was paid for and has been sent...I'm guessing to a re-seller in the US with a buyer ready to go. The winner in their words was "using their non-business account" with one feedback to buy it, which is a massive sign to actual collectors to not bid because it looks like a scam. Anyway, check your MOTU items, but get ready for a bombardment of idiocy. It was the second most stressful auction in almost 19 years on e-bay. My integrity was questioned multiple times (mainly due to d-wads cancelling or wanting to cancel their bids) as well as to the authenticity of the item.

Yep agreed, while they now offer more payment options to buyers they are stooging sellers, I think this may have been the reason for them separating from their own company paypal a year or two ago. They worked out then that they could make more money by running all the currency through one system. How many mansions and yachts do these people need!!

Having typed that light rant I still use them as my main selling place, I'm not on facey so that's a no go, plus I still think that ebay has the widest reach since I changed my selling to be available to certain countries after about 10 years of being purely Australian based.
