I know a few of you have been waiting for some of these ;)

Changes

You can edit multiple pieces at once. If you are in the Acquired, Ordered or Desired lists, you can only edit the Acquisition Info, whereas if you are in the Selling or Sold lists, you edit the Sale info. This means that if you wanted to move 10 figures from your acquired list and put their sale prices in, that would unfortunately be a 2 step process, but that's much better than the 10 step process it used to be. I'm keen for feedback and bug reports on this one.

Totals and Sorting in the Selling and Sold lists are now as expected (previously they were working off the Acquired info as opposed to the Sale info). Additionally, the Status page now shows profit or loss for your sale lists.

Previously, the order you sorted your lists in was remembered across all lists (except the Chooser). Each list now individually remembers its own sort order.

I've added a new "From Bundle" field for Acquired Info. This is the beginning of Bundle/Giftset support. This information SHOULD NOT be stored in the main library, as everyone acquires figures differently. So the value you put here is for you alone. I plan to allow previous collector's values to be shared, but for now, everyone must enter their own Bundle info. Unfortunately, there's not enough room to show the Bundle in list view, so if you hover over the name of a piece, if you have entered a Bundle for it, you will get a tooltip with the name of the Bundle. As a result, I will be updating main library records that have bundle information in the Variant field, e.g. Classics Ultra Magnus vs. Skywarp, ROTF Whirl vs. Bludgeon, as this is not correct. Please assist if you see any.

Due to some bad IE performance issues, clicking on a row itself is now not enough to edit a piece. You must click on any piece of text in the row. This should greatly improve performance on IE.

As always, feedback is welcomed.

As this site is still in development, there is no warranty of any kind. However, I do keep intense backups, so if something weird happens deleting your whole collection, just let me know ASAP. :D

For anyone that doesn't know what I'm talking about, go have a play at itfdb.com (http://itfdb.com/)

It's an interesting looking site, I have been looking for something like this for a while to keep a record of my TFs.

I suppose I'll put some feedback.
Well first off there's a bug with the drop down boxes for line and class.
The line box has a habit of resizing itself over the class box.
What I recommend is make all three boxes (Manufacturer, Line and Class) the maximum size they can get to rather then auto resizing.
That would be 15 characters long for Manufacturer, 27 for Line and 20 for Class.

Maybe also an option in settings to choose how many pieces per page you want as a default.
But it looks like it's coming along nicely, it should be great when it's done :D

Thank you!

Can you let me know what browser, version and operating system you're experiencing the pull down issues with?

The site will persistently remember the pieces per page you have chosen.

IE using Vista. I know alot of sites coded for use primarily with FireFox have this same issue, so it's probally just a fiddly little thing :p

The site will persistently remember the pieces per page you have chosen.Ah ok, I wasn't sure if it was site based or cookie based, I can see now it's site based as I cleared cookies last night and the site still shows the pieces per page I selected when I was on there before.
Good one :D

OK, I've tried tackling this slightly differently to see if it solves your refresh issue. Rather than just dynamically replacing the contents of the pulldown menu, I'm replacing the entire pulldown menu. The change in behavior should not be noticeable to the human eye and this should hopefully force IE to render it correctly. Please try it and let me know.

Thanks. To be specific, if a visitor changes it without being logged in, it is stored in a session cookie and will only be retained until they close that browser session. If they make the change when logged in, it will persist across multiple visits/computers/browsers as long as they log in each time.

This is also the same behavior for sorting. Additionally, each list (Acquired, Desired, Selling, etc.) will retain its own sort order. For example, I sort my ordered list by Date Ascending so I can see what's coming in next, but I sort my Acquired list in Date Descending so I can see what I've acquired most recently.

And last tip, each list will remember THREE sorts. So if you sort by Name, then Class, then Line, your resulting list will be sorted by Line, Class, Name subsequently. The sort arrows should be faded in order of predominance. Of course, clicking to sort the same field twice will reverse the sort order.

I personally found this very helpful for viewing just the MISB part of my collection, sorted by Line and Class, to determine what I had doubles of to sell.
