You're welcome. And - in case you didn't realise - to transform his fully to robot mode, you can put your thumb on the yellow bit on Windmill's shoulder and then pull his arm out a few millimetres to line up with the outside of the yellow bit so he has better arm-spacing. :) (If that makes no sense, I'm sure there are instructions online somewhere...)

Picked up a Powerglide, sadly no Stormcloud, but no biggie, I don't really like the colours of Stormcloud anyway :cool:

This is a tough one... I've been keen to get him for a while, but didn't even know we were gonna get him over here (thought he was an exclusive of some sort). My concern is whether they actually make it to SA or not, and for that price, because it's definately not in the 3 closest Target stores to me. I got Powerglide and Onslaught from Target at $34.95 going back a while, so $22.50+$10 postage still works out cheaper, but if they do show up, that $10 extra would hurt a bit. But if I wait and they never show, I'll likely miss out, because I doubt they'll last long at that price over there. Sigh, so much to ponder...

Different Target stores in Sydney have different stock... admittedly, I've only seen Stormcloud on a couple of occasions in the past, so not the most widely available Ultra, but he is floating around.

Did some late night shopping tonight and noticed Supreme ROTF Devastator for $119 at Kmart. $120 was what I was willing to pay for this bad boy so in the trolley he went. :D

I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised with this one. There's a lot of negativity surrounding Supreme Devastator but I've maintained an open mind and now that I've had a chance to play around with one I'm actually quite fond of him. For those who haven't seen him yet, he is absolutely freaking M-A-S-S-I-V-E. Take a look at little Legends Mudflap here perched atop Scavenger (or should I say: SCVNGR :rolleyes:)to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

Obviously the overall look of Devastator is an aquired taste so with that in mind I think that if you like his uniqueness, if you like his style, if you pick up what he's putting down...You will have a great deal of fun with this toy.

For me, I feel he's an excellent addition to my collection and I can now show off Devs in all his forms...Supreme for the combined mode, Legends for alt modes and voyager/deluxes for robot modes. :D

Argh, feel free to PM me your mobile number and I can sms you if I see any of the Legends around my area - to be honest though I think the more recent Legends are pretty scarce generally. I've only ever seen one mudflap and never seen The Fallen (I got mine off ebay). Hopefully more stores will get them in soon (instead of just Myer for a lot of them)!

If its like the early 80s super trump card games then its simple, really. Its all about the strategy of out classing your enemies number per category. Its a battle per item not all categories at once... kinda hard to explain for a simple game -- well hard for me to do so in english:o but its well, the person who has the turn calls out a category and if his card shows a higher value than his opponent he continues on and on and on ( next card then next then next) while his opponents losing card are sent to the hand of the winning person on and on and on til theres only one person left with all the cards.

Nice score. I paid about the same (including postage) for Fire Guts on his own... so you've got a good deal there.

BTW guys, can we ease up on the "OPEN!" callouts a little? While I'd never buy an AFA sealed toy, I respect the right of others to buy them, and appreciate that they'll enjoy them on a different level to me. The "OPEN!" callouts might well end up being a downer for the person who has picked up a sealed toy to keep sealed. It's not really nice to have your acquisition dumped on by others.

YAY! My local Target (suprisingly) got Stormcloud in, and for the $22.49 too! And while I have critisized the Silverbolt mould in the past, at $22.49 I gladly added him to my stash =o) I am glad I got him before completely writing off the mould (as I had previously only had Darkwind as an example). Silverbolt is much nicer to the eyes than Darkwind imo, I just couldn't stop thinking 'kiddy toy' with Darkwinds colour scheme, but ol' Silver looks just as 'heroic autoboty' as he should =o) Did anyone else notice a significant drop in quality in Stormcloud compared to Powerglide? Or maybe just me...

Seeing as I managed to aquire Stormcloud locally, I no longer need anyone interstate to track one down for me. So for those I asked about getting one to send over, you no longer need to do so, but I do appreciate any efforts that were made. Although, if anyone already has bought him for me and lost their receipt, I will honor it.

Well I would have liked to have said that I have picked up a Binaltech Asterisk Red Alert from ebay but apparently it has disappeared after being mailed from Sydney to Perth. Been nearly three weeks since it apparently was posted.

This September, I went online shopping with BBTS just to try if my overseas card would still work. And apparently it does! :D Thanks to Sky Shadow for the tipping, I now have the two animated voyagers - Skywarp and "Longarm", at a very reasonable price along with the animated human figures which were on sale and the animated accessories as well. Not really worth mentioning but for those who thinks that they missed a good sale, you didn't. Coz apart from the current good exchange rate, BBTS just sent an email that they are having a 15% off on several old stocks including this voyager set. So NOW is actually the better time to get them coz they just got cheaper.. ;)

Also in the pic is Sunstorm to complete my animated seekers and ROTF Scalpel. And this time around, k.wong23 deserves the special mention for selling me the classic trucks for my spare set - one for the CC Kit and the other one for the upcoming G3 Trailer to play and display with - and thus keeping all my classics in their mighty minty goodness. And of course, to my good ol' mates, lcz128 and jaydisc for again handling these babies for me.

nah theyre not rare, just hard to find in good condition, the horn usually is broken.

The Deluxe Insecticons are 'rare' on this continent since they were never released in Australia at retail - any that are here have migrated individually at some point in the past 24 years. The fact that they never had a Japanese release as Transformers also adds to their relative scarcity.
