Given EzyDVD's current shape, hopefully the Bumblebee packaging is not an exclusive and will be available to others like JB Hi-Fi as well. JB doesn't have these listed on their site yet so I guess I'll give it a few more days and find out. The free delivery when you pre-order option on EzyDVD's site is not bad though. Interesting there's no listing of a steelbook version this time. And no extra tin can from EzyDVD too. Guess EzyDVD has stopped doing them?

You know, I'm still not decided whether I'm going to buy it.

The more I've thought about it, the more the film annoyed me with it's sloppiness and offensive attitudes. I'm not sure I'm actually prepared to give Michael Bay more money.

Doubt it will be an EZYDVD Exclusive, I think I got the first movie Op box from BigW, I think. I did remember seeing it at JB as well. I suppose we will see what the future holds.

I forgotten what a that means...:o
Doesn't it, let you have "one" copy on a digital device (Ipod , PSP.... etc)?

something like that, I've never bothered using my digital copies yet, so I'm unsure how it works

I really can't justify supporting this film in DVD sales. I feel bad enough cos I'm still buying figures (well, I'm only buying Legends). I can get a copy for free from a friend of mine who works at a video store, but even then I don't think I actually even want to own it!

I doubt it'll go onto the ipod, it's usually protected WMV, Ipods won't play it, the psp might, but you'd have to check the specs to see if it'll play that type of file.

If that's true , what is the point of it???

Ah I hope the Bumblebee transforming one will come out in local retail. I got the Optimus Prime one and surely want Bumbee! :p

Meh. It's just not that good a film. I'll wait till it hits $15 in the cheapie bins at JB Hifi or wherever (:

Nonetheless, the Bumblebee case is a nice collectable. And is better value than those glorified Hot Wheels Hasbro are trying to flog off!

I's part of Microsofts desire to see all music, movies and games become downloads only, they want no more discs at retail. If they get their way, it'' all be downloaded or bought on memory sticks, preferably download only under the guise of it being better for the environment then producing it on disc

Well, if that is correct....
IMO, I currently can not see it "replacing" Physical Media, Though I can see it Co-existing with it though.;)

Last time I checked its paramount that makes the film, authors the DVD/Blu-ray and thus their choice to make the digital copy WMV (if it is) so the whole Microsoft is evil cliché doesn't really apply. Using WMA over QT or whatever the hell Apple want to cram down our throats doesn't matter so much on the international market where DAPs & DVPs are made by many companies that utilize the WMV format.

I can't wait to get it on Blu-ray... I think I'll enjoy the movie more on my 52" 1080p LCD!

The characters are way too big for the screens at the cinema.

They dominate so much of the screen that you miss out on the other details happening around them.

the Blu-ray will be cheaper at JB and possibly Big W

JB have been pricing new release Blu-rays at $30 for the last few months

Yep! JB's have been responsible for the majority of my Blu-Ray purchases over the last few months.

Here's hoping it's launched at $30!

Besides, Ezydvd are usually massively overpriced on new releases.

Same thoughts as Dirge except put "try to" inbetween the 'I'll' and 'wait'. :p

I quite like ROTF so I'll be snapping it up as soon as it's out. :) But I respect people who didn't like the movie so much and are thus either abstaining or waiting to get the DVD on sale... it kinda bugs me to hear people talk about how much they hate ROTF, yet can't wait to buy it on DVD! :/

I prefer seeing people stick to their principles and vote with their wallets.

I'm gonna skip the transforming Bumblebee case though... I got the transforming Optimus Prime one, and it's just not that cool. I find it's size and shape just cumbersome and awkward to handle. Much prefer a standard DVD case.

Seems you're correct. Just rang JB Hi-fi and they released it this morning. Blu-ray is $29 and there is a blu-ray double-pack of TF/TF:RotF for $75. Time to buy my first blu-ray, methinks. :D

I enjoyed it the first time, less so the second time which i got a bit ROTF'd out.

Therfore I will probably get it, but not till it drops in price, or I feel a huge urge to see it again.

I'm thinking about grabbing it. IF it's the IMAX version. We got screwed with Watchmen, so I'll be wary.

I got the super dooper deluxe version from an unnamed store in South East Asia. So unexcited about it, yet to watch a month later. I'll get ROTF, but when it hits $15 or $20 (:
