Hello all,

I'm after a G1 Cerebros and / or Spike to complete a Fortress Maximus.

Yes I know, everyone wants these to complete their Fort Max... but it's worth a try :)

I'm just wonder. How much would a body complete G1 fortress maximus cost? As in the figure is complete without accessories.

Yeah its definitely a cheaper exercise to buy one fully complete than it is to build from the body up. It'll hurt more in the short term but worth it in the long run. The same is true if you find one without guns/spike. over all its cheaper, just not at first.

Most I have seen are anywhere from $900 to $1500 complete. He is quite large and heavy so postage is also expensive.

I have one Fort max that is 95% complete, only missing some accessories but has the box.

The other Fort Max is missing several parts, but all I really want is Cerebros (Spike would be a bonus), so he isn't headless...

Only buy an incomplete Max if he is only missing one or two accessories but make sure he comes with Cerebros and Spike.

It can actually be much more affordable if you buy an almost complete Max online reasonably cheap with a couple of missing accessories (say an arm ramp and a gun) and then buy the missing items separately online. However like mentioned before, this tactic falls apart if the missing items happen to be Spike or Cerebros.

far canal!!!... i didnt know prices exploded for spike?
i've had a spare spike in my cabinet for quite a while now...$$ka-ching$$
just kidding...

yep. thats definitely true. others out there should know that the sum of all parts sold separately is close to 2 to 3 times the cost of buying one (1) 100% complete fort max with all parts sold together!! then theres individual postage costs to consider!!!!....damn scalpers!!!

Aussiejason - i suggest you transform headless fort max into base mode whilst you are searching for cerebros and spike... as it may take quite a while to find a ~decent priced one that someone is willing to sell...
