Been thinking about upgrading to a DSLR for a while, and finally a camera with all the features I've been waiting for is coming soon~

http://www.dpreview.com/news/0909/09091703pentaxkx.asp

- small
- image stabilisation
- live view
- HD video (I do like to take videos often so it's covenient)
- AA batteries (I'm a supporter of AA batteries in cameras)
- relatively cheap

Been itching to buy an Olympus E420. It was very compact but had no image stabilisation. E520 was too big. E620 got close, but with many companies offering HD video mode in their newer DSLRs it would be a feature I regret not having. I also considered Panasonic GH-1 as well as the newer micro-four-thirds from Olympus/Pansonic. Been tempted by all of these cameras but I resisted. Don't think I'll resist this new Pentax haha.

I have a Pentax k20d I purchased May last year and it's been pretty good so far. I recommend Pentax. If I were to get a new DSLR then I would probably buy something from Cannon though just to be different. A lot of the latest bodies released by Pentax have been step downs in terms of features aimed at beginner Photographers.
