Ive always liked the beast wars caracters, and always admired customs, so i decided to have a go at customs myself. With a beast wars theme in mind, i want to use movie figures that didnt appear in the movie, and also work well in alt and robot and their respective colour themes.

i filled down the head to make it look more like rinox.
still a bit to go on rinox.

Are you intending on making any more Beast Wars movie characters? Cos I'd like to see a movie Optimus Primal and Waspinator... heh, repainting Starscream as Waspinator would be quite ironic. ;D

Awesome! I had a similar thought myself when I saw the Wreckage head mold - It has a similarity to Dinobot's.

True, I know that Waspinator was possessed by Strascream's ghost hence the, "Delicious irony" of repainting ROTF SS as Waspy. I just think that Soundwave's mold is a better fit. In the end it's Chuttla's call ;)

Just to add my 2 cents, I would have thought Sideways would have been a good choice for Waspinator. I know he's already been done by other customisers as Kickback though because he is so bug like.

But Sideways would be equally Ironic seeing as how he got the short end of the stick in the movie just like Waspy.

i wanted it to look like the first dukes of hazard towtruck. the brown i picked is a little dark, though overall im very happy with the way it turned out:). if only i knew how to make decals?:confused:

I like very much your creative take on this. Indeed your selection is a whole lot better than the selection made for the botcon one. But then, I think most of the fig choices back then was limited. Still. On Dinobot / wreckage you could add some of the stripes Dinobot has in his color shemearranged to make it look like a camo design, after all wreckage can do with a little camouflage look and blends well due to your great match selection of the fig.

If your still interested try going to you local hobby shop and ask if they have decal paper. What you do is just print the picture or logo onto the paper then shoot it with clear cost so the ink wont run, then its just a water slide decal. I have used Decal paper in the past with my disney car's customs and it work great :D

the head came from a bombshell junker, and moded it to fit.
i think the claw gimmick works very well with scorponok!:)
