Last of the cancelled Universe Robot Heroes.

Recently posted as news was two of the four sets of cancelled Universe Robot Heroes being listed on ebay (as loose samples), and now the other two have been found on ebay, giving us a first look at the Beast Machines pair (the Gen1 pair were pictured on the last wave packs).

The four sets that were cancelled:

Optimus Prime vs. Megatron (Robots in Disguise)
Prowl vs. Laserbeak (Generation 1)
Victory Saber vs. Dessaras (Generation 1)
Optimus Primal vs. Jetstorm (Beast Machines)

If they don't ever see production some day, the ones one ebay will be some of the rarest TFs toys in collector's hands.

What a tease!

Seriously, what kind of foolish knob at Hasbro decided not to release these, or just the G1 pair at the very least? C'mon, surely they can see G1 makes their pockets grow... *sigh* Prowl & LB would be so so nice, as I had the originals as a child and have been attempting a RH set of the original G1's I had, but not at that price. Fans shouldn't be treated on a "who's richest" basis, it ain't cool...

Sorry to sound so mad, but I'm losing my internet tomorrow among other things, so this news doesn't help my mood =oP
