Not that I care, since I'm eagerly looking forward to my MP-08X Grimlock, but since this has been a hotly contended issue on the board... from Hasbro US:
"We are pleased to announce that the next Masterpiece item that we will be releasing will be Grimlock in 2010. We are excited to be able to offer this item within the U.S. and will certainly share more details as we get closer to releasing him."

Good news for Hasbro US fans, hopefully they can bring him out here for Australian fans as well.
But what about skywarp? Is he being released here at all anymore?

Good news for those who don't have it, wonder if they will change the accessories?

Good news.
Hopefully I will be able to get one cheap enough to end up in my Classics display.

This is great news indeed.
Hopefully it's markedly more affordable than the Takara version.
Even though the finishing might not be as good as the Takara one, just getting my hands on one woudl be great.

i'm hoping they won't skimp on anything, like chrome, diecast etc

The pictures shown so far seem as if the quality is pretty decent. However I am not sure what TrU would charge for it...

Based on the prices for the TRU exclusive ultras, I'd say "a lot". :D

It wouldn't surprise in the slightest me (although I'd still be outraged) if it cost the same as importing a Japanese one. :(
*sigh* I would've imported a Japanese one, but the toy came out just before my daughter was due to be born so I wasn't in a position to splash out on an expensive Transformer that the time. C'est la vie.

I'm hopeful that this won't be the case with me as well as my wife is due to give birth in early October.

Just reported on TFW (rumour from a credible source ;)), apparently Canada will be getting MP Grimlock late April / early May (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-news-rumors/297939-masterpiece-grimlock-out-late-april-early-may.html)... a lot sooner than anyone thought.
Here's hoping for an Australian release around the same time *fingers crossed*
