Title says it all. What do you think is the best TF toyline of the 21st century so far?
One note: this doesn't define stuff like Encore, since those TFs are from a different era of toy engineering. Rather, this is the line with the best original molds from 2000 onward.
I have little experience with TF toylines compared to most of you, so my answer is going to be limited by that. My vote is for Animated, owing to the fact that not only do they capture the likeness of the characters nearly spot-on, they're fun in a way that doesn't compromise the rest of the toy significantly.

You're kidding, right? Everyone knows that the answer to this is Transformers: Armada.
Mini-cons.
Incredibly well thought-out gimmicks.
A selection of the greatest TF toys of all time.
Red Alert
Megatron
Hot Shot
Scavenger
Thrust
Tidal Wave
Overload.
Jetfire
Optimus Prime...
God the list just goes on and on and on.
Armada is basically the pinnacle of TFs since the turn of the century. I can't imagine anything equalling it.

(For the record my favourites from before then are, in chronological order: Gen1, Gen2 and Beast Wars)

For me, Id have to say G1 - the original and the best.
Classics/Universe is a close second, followed by Animated, Animated, Alternators/Masterpiece then the Movie-verse.
I know what many people are thinking, the TF movie line does have QC and design flaw issues, but there are some gems - the Leader Primes and TF1 '08 Camaro Bumblebee. Paint apps are problems throughout all the lines so it's the character design and transformation sequence do it for me.

Animated without doubt.
Also Legends Warpath.
..What? Warpath is a toyline. Or should be. Transformers: Warpath - endless repaints of Legends Warpath. And I would buy them all.

When I bought warpath, I thought to myself it would have been better as a deluxe version. it feels awkward placing him next to bumblebee...
My vote goes to
1. Masterpiece Grimlock.
2. Henkei/Classics
3. Revotech Transformers.

For me it has to be Animated - it's the best, most original and invigorating thing to happen to Transformers since Beast Wars. And does Mutant Beast Wars count as a toyline? If so, then they're right up there too.

I'll go
1. Mastepiece
2. Henkei
3. Binaltech
For me it's Masterpieces without a doubt, there just so damn detailed and cool.
After that I'd go Henkei, Binaltech, I'd almost put Movie toys in to, because I like the change in style, but the line also has several bad toys that detract from it as whole, which is also why I said Henkei not Universe.

Hey - you've just reminded me that Hasbro never answered any of my questions about that!

Henkei/Classics are the best IMHO... a great homage to their original G1 counterparts with modern day toy engineering and refreshed styling.

2. Anecdotal evidence suggests that Voyager Lugnut is too small. Does Hasbro have any machines with which customers can zap their Lugnuts in order to make them bigger (like the one that Rick Moranis had in 'Honey I Blew Up The Kids')?
there are products out there like hydrospan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnl4Ia1lKjE) or a 3D Printer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0m1cVqNsRA) which can help you with that.
What do you think is the best TF toyline of the 21st century so far?
since there are no clearly defined terms and conditions,
My vote for best toyline to date is the Custom TF toyline....:p
Custom TF Toys like Mench0y's Predaking (http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e42/pinoymomo/?newest=1) and Spurt Reynold's Universe Scourge (http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd62/jockeydenob/Universe%20Scourge/) etc... are just full of WIN!!!
