Summer's coming, and that means licensed summer Transformers clothing at JayJays.

Just in from Ross at JayJays are some info and pics for their November Transformers clothing release to coincide with the release of the TF2 movie on DVD.
Plus, details on a new competition to win one of 250 copies of the TF2 Movie (2-disk version).

The Summer TFs clothing range includes T-shirts and Boardies.

The T-shirts are $20 and are in stores now (or should be).
The boardshorts are $39.95 and are arriving in stores in December.

Geez I wish they'd start bringing out stuff for girls.. Lol i'm okay with wearing the tees, but they only ever stock 1 xxs (according to the lady at the counter) which means its a battle between me and all the other super skinny male fans..

I was in jay jays tonight and they had new t-shirts in. Bumblebee, soundwave and optimus with their tech spec motos written around their heads. But the best was a grey and white shirt with one of dreamwaves comic covers on it, devastator looking down on a group of autobots. Unfortunatly they didn't have my size so I'll be heading to the city on saturday to look for it

I like the big side symbols print touch on the board shorts. Wish they'd make that design as well on shirts.:D Kinda like the design I submitted before when they were soliciting but never got seen by the designers due to their computer system blocking out any pictures whatsoever, even when I sent it on their frickin email :(:(, ah well. Am loving these design anyways, Ill be buying some more TF shirts to bring as presents to my TF buds in Phils this December holidays, sweet timing :D:D. Only wished they didnt run out of stock of the gray mini symbols hoodies so quickly, mine's fading already :( shoudlve bought 2 or three even.

the tee designs are definitely getting better. I wouldnt mind some good tf animated stuff aimed at collectors instead of little kids. More graphic art stuff as well. I realise that hasbro has to approve everything which is somewhat limiting.

The new black on white devastator tee is fricken awesome, will be picking one up this week. The new faction symbol tee's are pretty good too.

one suggestion, could we have some shirts, you know the button up kind with a very tasteful design on it that you could wear out perhaps, now that tf are publicy cool again...

I saw some at the JayJays at Doncaster on Saturday. They had heaps of each of the current wave of shirts.

I wish we saw more of it. I'd be so much happier with the Movie verse comics if they use an "animation model" approach to the art (like we've seen with most G1 comics) rather than trying to be toy/movie accurate.

Only recently have TF comics done more "cartoon model" style art, most notably Guido Guidi and Chee's art for AHM and the upcoming Bumblebee series. Otherwise it's new or toy-based.

Of anybody is interest in art credits, the G1 stuff was drawn by Don Figueroa (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Don_Figueroa) and coloured by Josh Burcham (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Josh_Burcham). Similar looking art on other clothing and merchandise was most likely also by them.

They seem to have gotten quite a few more designs in now since these where posted, well from what I saw in Jay Jays's Maroochydore today, They also had 3 different 'ladies' style T's as well... G1 Prime on Red, G1 Bumble Bee on White... and ROTF Decepticon Symbol on black.. so I assume they may have had others but they where gone.

But they definatly had more sizes than just XXS :confused: everything up to XL at least that I saw.

In the 'mens' (so not fair i tell you...) There was a Different Devastator Design than the one in Griffins pics, G1 Megs On Grey, Soundwave Buttons (they where in a 2 for $20 pile I was sure..) , Scarface Megatron. Bunch of Movie style Faction Symbols various BG designs.. No Grimlocks, I didnt see the boardies there.... hmm I cant think of any others they had but id say rough guess that had at least 20 different ones there.

When I went into Jay Jays in Penrith the other day, they had 3 different Devastaor design ones, one was white with Devastator outline (I think, I cant remember) and the other is I think grey but with Devastator standing straight.

I came home with the black and white devvy...lovin it! I'm curious about this third devvy shirt though? I've seen the grey one (prepare for extermination) and obviously the black and white with prime and various other tfs on it that i came home with...

Now I have 2 ROTF dvds :o. One of them is probably gonna end up as a pressie
