I've noticed a few independent posts in the past in regards to repairs and upgrades of old figures so maybe this could be a starting thread (if people remember to use it :p)
Suggestions for various problems from a number of experienced people is always helpful.
Ok here's my problem;
Finally got me a G1 Blaster today in very good nick...except the buttons are screwed. I think these can be re-adjusted by the look of things. The far right button is permanently pressed down.
Surely there's been work done to fix this common problem.
Little help?

Good question, I too would like to fix mine.
I think this thread would be a good idea for people wanting to fix their TF's.

Hey Az, hope your problem isn't the same as mine. I followed this video (there's a 2nd part to it). Pretty easy to follow. Easy fix for the common tapedeck problem.
Unfortunately, the far right grey button has an internal broken tab so I can't fix my own one. Ah well

There's been multiple thread's on repairing and fixing parts and wotnot, mebbe this could be a central thread where all of em collective threads link are posted kinda like the collection thread, with heading for each topic link so we can avoid multiple queries .... Whoopy you need to get a junker Blaster then just for that tab.... hey Az if Jaime has one ( and it's upcoming parra fair at that mebbe you can score one for Whoopy and have it shipped to him so he can finally fix his :D

Little help?I've fixed my Blaster, but hard to show without pics or a video. However love to get another head for my Blaster, as one of his ears is broken.

Hey Whoopy, if jamie still has that blaster, and the part you need is not broken, would you like me to put it aside for you?

Yeh I'm not too fussed actually. I only need that button on the far right, I'm happy to pass on blasters head to lordy if he needs.
Depends on price and what not, as I don't mind leaving blaster the way he is.
Let me know though! Cheers guys
