Why wont Digital copy of ROTF wont play on my iphone :(

Hi all

Quick question for some of you tech heads out there. I own a 32Gs iphone. Itunes and iphone are all up to date. I bought the blu ray 3 disc ROTF and downloaded the movie to itunes using the code u get with it etc. OK, now the movie is in my itunes but and on my phone but will not play. On my phone it trys to open it but just goes to a black screen for about a second and then says cannot play this movie. In itunes it just plays all these funky colours like I dont have the right codec. How do I get it to work? I thought it would automatically work considering I D/L it from itunes. Any ideas?

Once you have riped the movie and converted to mpv4 or downloaded from itunes you then need to is some cases in itunes highlight the movie then go to advanced then in the drop down box click make ipod or i phone version. It will take an hour or so to convert. :cool: Failing that perhaps your download is dodgy. Does the movie play in quick time on your pc?

It plays in Quicktime, has the sound but no picture. (Flashing colours). Like its missing a codec.
