From Hasbro AU (thankyou).

GIJoe Qs
Q1 - With the oversupply of Wave 1 and 2 figures, will we see any Wave 3 or 4 figures in Australia?
Unlikely that we will see Wave 3 and 4 figures at this stage

Q2 - Do you expect there to be any other waves released before year end? Wave 5, which has just been released in America for example, contans City Strike Duke and Jungle Ripcord, or will those of us who prefer not to import toys have to wait until after Christmas? Not at this stage

Q3 - Will we also get the Pursuit of Cobra line. Still planned.

Thanks for the update from Hasbro boss. Very disappointing we likely won't get anything until "pursuit". Although importing isn't as harsh as it was 6 months ago, I know what I'll be doing.

Disappointing but not suprising.

Are there any online stores selling the figures online for decent prices though? Other than ebay I mean.

Marketing strategies of Hasbro AU sucks...
They should plan next time for them not to overstock.
Sigh....

Well that bollocking sucks. City Strike Snake is going to be a bother and a half to get. And this isn't promising for that Snake armor or the TRU exclusives (Namely MURDER SPECIALIST Bench Press for them, though). Although I think I saw some Wave 3 at a Target, wave 3 comes with the Elite Viper and... Whatever else is in the wave, right? Couldn't find the Elite though

I'm curious though, Griff, if you might be able to ask them what the hell is up with Star Wars as well. No need to go into details, just "What the hell is going on with Legacy collection?". Because its gotten no new stock since bloody April and I wonder if ANYTHING will come out. Its skipped about 5 bloody waves, most of which are complete asses to buy

I'm pretty sure the wave you'r reffering to that Target had was actualy wave 2 collection 2. Elite Viper was listed in that wave, however I think hasbro moved him back to the wave after.

For some reason this wave was only seen at Target for a very short time. It sold quickly, presumably because they did not get much stock.

But yeah Hasbro's marketing strategies do suck, filling every store with a huge stock of the same collection one wave one stuff, while releasing very little of the other waves. And then wondering why they have overstock problems? Duuhh! This seems to be less of a problem with TF's, yes they sell better but most stores seem to get slightly different stock, with Gi Joe every store was the same.
