I'm having troubles with my camera atm so I'm unable to make a video review. :( If anyone else wants to post their own review or thoughts about this toy on this thread, then by all means please do so. :)

In the meantime, I've taken some comparative shots between Encore reissue and original G1 Sky Lynx.

Differences that I've noticed are:
1/ On the dinobird the mouth gun barrel is painted dark gray and the insides of the mouth (both upper and lower palates) are painted a kind of pinkish red.
2/ Copyright stamps on the undersides of the shuttle and rolling launcher modules are different - original Sky Lynx's stamps features "TOYBOX"; the name of the original company that produced the pre-Transformer Sky Lynx toy, and of course, is made in Japan. The reissue features TakaraTOMY - who of course are the current owners of the Sky Lynx mould (hence why they've been able to reissue it, hurrah!) and is made in China. Both figures feature Hasbro Inc's names since it was originally Hasbro that licensed the mould as a Transformer.
3/ On the puma head the eyes on the original are unpainted and are chrome gold like the rest of the head whereas the reissue's eyes are painted blue to make it more show-like (although the original's is more comic like since the comics typically had more toy-accurate colours).

Thanks to dirge for lending me his G1 Sky Lynx. (^_^)

Wow, that is so cool Gok. I like that toy and I have to say, its going at a pretty good price for what you're getting, which is around $75 including postage.
