Hi, does anyone here own 25th SDCC soundwave? (4-cassette version)
I bought one from ebay.au. Seller is in singapore.
It has "hasbro malaysia distributor" tag on it, but the quality is really really below expectation.
Does anyone here share the same experience?
thx

Don't have this figure, but I'd be interested to read what aspects of the quality you dislike.

It's probably due to mould degradation. The Soundwave/Soundblaster moulds have been reused way too many times, as have Laserbeak/Buzzsaw and Ravage. Which leaves Ratbat - hopefully he's all right.

It could be mould degradation as Sky Shadow mentioned but I am also inclined to think that its also due to cheaper materials than the Japanese reissues.

Interesting topic.... care to elaborate on what decline in quality have you encountered?

well, the quality I mean, when you hold it in hand, it gives you a feeling that it is made by cheap plastic. Doesn't feel like a branded toy, more like a 2 dollar shop toy. And when he stands, the shoulder doesn't look horizontal. (maybe I m tooo fussy on toys.:p)
I think movie toy line and 08 animated toys have better quality.

hmmmm that is bad quality then indeed. guess its not just mold degradation but the plastic formula dilution must be getting cheaper and cheaper hence the KO feel to it. Oil price does affect the budget I believe coz they use it for the plastic... shame:(
