For those in Sydney, there's a big ol toy sale happening this weekend in Homebush. TF's are specifically mentioned so there'll probably be some bargain buys!

I hope they got Japanese toys at none rip off prices. Australian importers have a bad tendency to seriously over price their wears.

I think they are an Australain importer or toy wholesaler. I'd be very much suprised if they have anything that's not already on the shelves in standard Australian stores. More likely they will just have bulk items for what would be sale prices in the stores.

Call me and let me know If I'm wrong though.:D

I'd kinda expect the TF stock to be stuff that stores haven't really been able to sell. Stuff like those Animated Magnuses we saw at Kmart.

Having said that, they could have imported excess stock. Like the Animated Roadbusters which have been clogging up Malaysian toy stores :D

Nah just retail but a few haven't been released as of yet like the starscream vs ironhide rpm & they also had a rollbar vs sideways rpm too, the predaking vs richo robot hero'sisn't seen very muchh in shops & I've never seen the preceptor vs bombshell one in aussie stores ever

Yep that had that one, Cheetor & tankor as well as the 2 G1's mentioned above

I saw the GI jOe stuff but i'm not that into it so don't know much about it

I was actually rather impressed by this sale - maybe to the ardent TF collector there wasn't much but to the average mum and dad shoppers, there were huge savings to be had. Here's some other items which were there that haven't been elaborated upon:

ROC Mars Industries Trooper 3 pack (preview wave) - $5 each!!
Resolute, Cobra and GI Joe 5 packs - $20

Yeah, I was quite bummed that I couldn't make it. Been waiting for a RH Perceptor for ages as I was sure he'd get a local release.

He is a character that I always wanted. I ended up importing the Hasbro reissue since I would have had to buy him online anyway.

The GI Joe stuff sounds decent.

I'm both bummed I didn't go, and at the same time pleased, as had I gone I would have spent yet more money on awesome bargains, and damnit I've been doing that a lot lately.:(:)
