The results of this poll will contribute in determining Article 20 of the Universal Counting Method.

Do Sport Label and Music Label Transformers count?

Sport Label Transformers include Nike Convoy, Nike Megatron etc.

Music Label Transformers include Music Label Soundwave, Soundblaster as well as Rumble and Frenzy headphones.

The choice is simple - either they count or they don't. :)

I agree that they do count as transformers, they do transform dont they?

I just got the Soundwave MP3 and think he's great! I got no probs with him, as for the shoes, its more proof that the other big companies see Transformers as icons to show off themselves (another example is Pepsi Prime and the Convoy Ipod Dock)

Just my opinion!

Actually, Pepsi Prime is a concept that dates back from 1985. Pepsi Convoy is meant to be a very creative "reissue" of G1 Pepsi Prime. :)

Ask yourself two questions:

1. Is it a "Transformer"?
2. Does it transform?

Yes and Yes.

As retardedly stupid an idea that I reckon that transforming shoes are, they and the music label count as;

1. They transform.
2. They are tak-tomy/hasbro labeled.
3. They are transformers brand licensed.

I was pointing out that the concept of other companies such as Nike, iPod, Seiko, Zippo et al. viewing Transformers as a significant enough cultural icon to promote themselves is something which started with Pepsico back in 1985. It's obviously a lot bigger now since the children of the 80s are now adults with disposable income but I was just pointing out that in the case of Pepsi Prime, the concept is 23 years old. :)

Also, I forgot. Do Action Masters count?

I've answered that question in the more relevant thread (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?p=11940#post11940).
