Check it out folks, here are a couple of commissions for Thanatos that have taken me ages to get done. Thanatos had been wanting a Custom Classics Thundercracker for a while and when he finally got his hands on a Starscream for the right price, it came as a two pack with Hotrod. Here's what I did with it.

I cut down the tail fin to make it look more normal, resculpted the head with putty and using some pieces that I cut of the engine, a complete repaint, and we have Custom Classics Sideswipe...

That looks sweet, nice paintjob.
For the lights and silver trim try using self adhesive foil. I buy a lot of stuff from this place by the way and postage is really cheap.

Awesome! Thanks man. I've never even thought to look for something like this before. I am going to buy some right now!

the only thing i could say is the orange on the gun kinda stands out in a bad way methinks - maybe a once over with some black paint?

I know, you're right. I didn't look at the gun untill I went to take the photos... it's being painted as we speak.

*drools*

Very nice Al, big fan of it. Can't wait to see them turn up in my mailbox. Works even better than the base custom I showed as suggestion.
