Movie Fishing stuff.

These are some of the more unlikely Transformers branded merchandise I've seen, and wouldn't be expecting too much demand for these items just because they have a Transformers theme painted all over them.

Found recently in American stores have been a fishing rod, tacklebox, net, and an 'outdoor adventure kit' which looks to have sunglasses and a couple of other items I can't tell. Note how a couple of the items are called 'fun...' as if it makes a difference to what the item is for.

the tackle box would be really useful for storing accessories. And the torch is useful in a practical sense. Would sure be better than that hunk o' crap torch I got in my TF Energon showbag from the Sydney Royal Easter Show. :/

one of the problem of brand marketing gone mad is that it becomes overwhelming and many fans will simply find t/f uncool due to being overwhelmed , and pull out altogether, but thats just a doomsday opinion :)

Aw come on, it's just some fishing equipment. At least it's encouraging people to get outdoors. Why would you complain about TF fishing gear when we already have Transformers cigarette lighters?? Which would you rather see your kid buying?

Hey I have one of those lighters (the Optimus front one) and I don't and never will smoke. It's such a nice piece I couldn't pass it up.

At least the fishing gear and lighters are useful, unlike a heap of the licensed crap that have been released thus far.

If you have a minibot of your own and go fishing, Im sure they'd like a Transformers one, kind of like having a Trasnformers lunchbox or backpack.

Lighters are always useful, you never know when you might need a light source or a naked flame! :p
