Okay, so I own the BMF (http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_080108b.htm) which is quite simply one of the best toys/playsets I have ever owned! Seriously, the thing is stunning!

I didn't think it could be beaten, until I saw (and read about)... this! That's right, the much-rumoured mother****ing AT-AT! (http://www.toplessrobot.com/2010/02/hasbros_awesome_new_at-at_revealed.php):eek: My God - this thing looks amazing!! If it's half as brilliant as the BMF it will be mind-blowing!

Me want!

I am looking into the BMF now so I might look into this when it is released. Will it come with a Clone Wars style Speeder Bike or the ROTJ style?

Apparantly there is a larger scaled Slave 1 on the horizon as well

I cannot recommend the BMF to you guys enough! Even if you are only half a Star Wars fan you will be very impressed by this thing! It's one of my prized pieces in my collection, and it displays so perfectly.

And as a huge Empire Strikes Back fan, I am all over this AT-AT.

Makes me wanna collect more of the vehicles from Star Wars (I've already got all the figures I'll ever want) so I might have to end up getting a TIE Fighter as well after all!

I guess I can be classed as a half a Star Wars fan :)

The new Vintage Collection has me very interested and I will be a Star Wars collector again for the first time since the POTF2 line

I want to get decent scaled vehicles but I don't know where to look. I am confused by Hasbro's reuses and repacks. Any advice?

So who is army building the AT-AT? :)

Proportionally it's an improvement over the 80s toy, but still quite a way out. :(

I'm more interested in the apparent retooling of the snowspeeder, the proto looked like it might have air-brakes.

Here's some more pics of the big guy (http://www.toyark.com/news/toy-fair-59/star-wars-2010-toy-images-from-toy-fair-part-2-2358/). I'm totally loving this thing! Can't wait!!

It is good to see the Speeder Bike is the vintage version

With the BMF being a hard sell here will the AT-AT still get a release?

That AT AT is impressive  even if i do not want to get one. :)

I am hoping they are planning to re make an X-wing soon ("maybe a Snowspeeder as well, but not as much") as although, i like the Movies "it" is the only thing i am interested in getting.

Target Elizabeth now have the BAT-AT in stock. The box is about half of the size of the BMF. It is selling for $200

I have the re-released POTF AT-AT from the 1990s and this newer release doesn't actually look like that much of an improvement. They've replaced the weird electronic sound/light box inside with a more accurate troop deployment section, but it's still so tiny as it's meant to be two levels. The speeder bike garage is nice but still too small.

Ultimately I think it looks like it's the same size, but this photo shows otherwise: http://www.toyark.com/news/attach/1/9/9/9/AT-AT-Comparison-Star-Wars_1275051046.jpg

Sorry for the noob question, but is it right to assume that the newer AT-AT is the bigger version in eruntalon's comparison pic?

if so... fark yeah!!!

I've seen it online for around $130 USD. How much is it at Target?

Not sure - I'm waiting for their toy sale in a couple of weeks.

Here's another review (http://jediinsider.com/index.php?catid=244&itemid=12935), with some great pics. :)

Target at Eastgardens had a couple the other day for $199 and the catalogue says they'll be $149 during the sale. I'm desparate to get my hands on one but definitely worth the wait for the sale.

Old news for most but I just got this from TRU... last piece... this seriously rocks! It's just so huge and like the BMF, I need to find a spot to display it or wife will be most displeased! :p

Yeah it's definitely one awesome toy- keeping it at my girlfriend's place, most likely under the table which will have my USS Flagg on it that she's giving me for our anniversary.
