WFC pre-order exclusive - Shockwave for multiplayer.

I had seen that as well. Hopefully people outside of the US can actually get him. Strange that they are making him a playable character. Not a bad thing, just strange. Never would have imagined it.

I did ask EB last Friday about it, they are not sure when it will be out, but odds are they will have some sort of preorder bonus. They might get this, but we won't know until they know I suppose.

I've noticed EB are hopeless lately with information about upcoming games. Unless it's for the one or two games they're really plugging, like 'Final Fantasy XVIII' or 'Aliens Vs Predator', they're clueless. Yesterday they couldn't tell me a single thing about 'MAG' which comes out this week, yet when it came time for me to leave they kept pressuring me about pre-ordering it.

Yea they can be a bit useless at times. I heard along the wire that WFC will be out 30th of June, so hopefully EB will know more about it soon. Still a little while away though.

Or do what I do. Buy it from my work (even though the cost price is usually more expensive than what other stores sell it for) but 'price-match' one of said other stores with a fabricated price. :p

I will likely order this from overseas as I have been doing with all games in the past couple of years - It's less than a third of the local retail price and exactly the same game.

it is region free, but depending on server set ups some games will only access the server of the games region, Demon's Souls does this for example.

DLC also depends on region. Generally if you buy a foreign release game but Australian DLC they won't work together.

I bought Dragon Age Origins from overseas and the DLC downloads and installs fine. I just installed the 'Return to Ostagar' DLC as I have done with Warden's Keep before and its all good.

However I have heard that Steam does region code their games but I didn't encounter that with Orange Box.

Thanks man. Looks like they are going for a G1 style look, but more updated to look more mechanical than cartooney. I do quite like it.

The more I see about this game, the more I like it, I just pray that I don't get my hopes up and it turns out to be a crap game.
