5mm posts

So recently I've been working on a Transformers Wikipedia article about those Transformers that use 5mm posts as standard... that is the guys with 5mm holes for fists and 5mm posts for their guns, or who have 5mm posts or holes on their bodies for accessories or Mini-cons or whatever.

I'm trying to make an EXHAUSTIVE list -- so that a fan can check and see if a toy could be compatible with another toy... so it's getting there, but I need help. Check out the page:

I'm only finished up through Generation 2 now. I need people to help me, and fact check -- make sure I'm right about things. But specifically here's a few Transformers that need checking:

* Galaxy Shuttle
* Liokaiser (I know some of the information on the page is right, since I have Rescue Force... but I'm not positive about Gaihawk, Hellbat or the combined mode's fists.)
* Black Shadow + Blue Bacchus
* Deathsaurus (I didn't list him because I just had no clue... so if anyone could check him that'd be great.)

Any help you could offer on the page would be great! I'll be starting Beast Wars soon, and I'll come back in here for suggestions!

Oh, and feel free to post your anecdotes about giving random toys random weapons, observations about inter-compatibility of toys, etc.

So would it be okay to just say take Ratbat's weapons and try them on other toys to see if they can hold them okay, or would you prefer we take out a ruler and measure?

Man I really hate how the Energon Dinobots didn't have the universal fist sizes like virtually all other Armadaverse toys. Are they the only Armadaverse moulds (so not including repaints/retools) who don't have the universal fist size? Not including Armadaverse toys that don't have fists of course (e.g. Armada Laserbeak) and Mini-Cons of course.

Just take other toy's weapons and check, it's the best way. Measuring at that small isn't gunna really tell you for sure. Gotta test the tolerances.

I used Motormaster's gun as my standard test -- then used several other weapons from different generations to confirm.

And we've had some problems with reissues -- so please use the original Ratbat if you can.

Not a problem. I didn't get reissue Ratbat anyway. ;)
