I dont know if this mob has been discussed before? Anyone had any dealings with them?

I have tried to email them on many many many occasions and they did not respond.

Furthermore, i tried to clarify some TF statues and no response.

For - Soundwave statue - it has been released for 3 years, and they had it listed as a 'PRE - ORDER'.

Have they closed down? Their website seems active?

Apparently they closed down about 2 years ago, as others have failed to get any response from them. Not sure why their website is still running though.

Yes, just as griffin described. They were based in Perth and used to have a stall at Perth Nexus Fair every 3 months. We haven't seen them at the fair for almost 2 years now. Some older discussions on them for your information:

Seems weird, website looks reasonably up to date and the Abn number is still current.

thanks guys for your info - it seems it has been updated?

the mere fact that they dont answer any emails is disturbing.

not to mention the fact that they might be closed down yet the website still runs.

when i was going to purchase stuff from there I was concerned that i was going to be charged for someone and not get it!

The front page of the website looks to be exactly the same and untouched as months ago. The date on the front page is just a webpage clock script that automatically updates itself. Just check the listing of Transformers items, they don't have anything from 2009 or after. The site hasn't been updated since sometime around mid to late 2008.

I wonder what could have happened that made him gave up his business.

Considering that all the 'new items' are from 2008 (and I can't see anything released since then on there), it's probably best not to risk ordering from them without some official word from the owner as to what is going on.

He must've only just paid for a 3 year renewal of the web addy just before closing up shop, SikCowToys site only lasted a few months after they went bust.

I think TransfigureToys is the only exclusively online store left in AUS that stocks TFs, and just import ones at that. Perhaps the ability for individual collectors to be able to import domestic Hasbro product for less than an online store (and often retail store), is making it unprofitable for any AUS online business to bother.

I know I asked this question about 1.5 years ago, but this website is still active!

This is very bad, I am surprised no one has contacted the Western Australian's Office of Fair Trading.

When you do a google search, the listings are quite voluminous.

If you did close down, the prudent thing to have done was to shut down your website?

He might have pre-paid a block of hosting, or an account somewhere keeps getting charged each month. Who knows... but yes, it has probably caught out a few people who have tried to order something and gotten nowhere.
