I am not saying ghost SS is not good. But I don't think it deserves such high expectation we had in past months. :(

I don't think ghost Starscream is the one people are anticipating - it's presumably just a recolour release before the new mould, whoever he or she might be. It's almost certainly not Astrotrain, Soundwave or Devastator, but it could still be Galvatron or Hot Rod.

I guess they have to since Grimlock and Megatron can't really be repainted too many times...

I think we had a discussion on MP Grimlock redeco options (Gen2 colour, and maybe Overkill, but that one's unlikely as the Classics Overkill was already pushing it), but I agree that there probably isn't anything they can do with Megatron - and it's inability to be released by Hasbro proabably makes it non-profitable mould (justifying the excessive redeco-ing of other MP moulds to make up its losses).

I would actually be really tempted to get a MP Comic Soundwave in purple with a mouth, more so than say a Soundblaster. :o And if they packaged Masterpiece Ratbat with it that would be awesome.

I like it but since I already have an MP Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker which are all of the same mold - I am having a hard time justifying buying another.

I bought the clear Henkei version and I think that's enough for me as far as Clear Starscreams go.

Galvatron would be great, Jetfire I dunno, only if he was toon accurate. I already have a great Valkyrie toy so no need for that. And something like classic Jetfire would suck IMO. I'm sorry but that toy looks like a Fuzor to me, like they took some Jetfire/Skyfire toon elements and just sewed them together with some Valkyrie elements to make an ungainly halfbreed.

What the world really needs is MP Shockwave.

Mind you I still think the Soundwave idea would work for Hasbro/Takara particularly if packaged with two MP cassettes, they could release Rumble, and Laserbeak with the first release, then toon accurate Rumble and Laserbeak in another then Frenzy and Buzzsaw in the next. And then once fans had bought all those Soundwave repaints just to get all the variants, they would announce another Soundwave minor repaint with new tape moulds (much like MP Convoy with added trailer).

It's a total goldmine. :D

As youve mentioned they could do that reissuing it with 2 sets of MP tapes each time .... or they could do MP tape sets to be the next MP itself...

MP soundwave with Laserbeak and Ravage. Then release an MP set of tapes - Rumble and Frenzy with Ratbat and BUzzsaw and then the next MP would be MP Overkill and SLugfest with Beastbox and Squawktalk. NOw that would be awesome... aaah one can dream....

I second the motion....personally IMO if they really wanted to reuse the mold ( well the main body anyways) they could re do it a little bit and release all the rest of the seekers - meaning the conehead trio, someone already did it (kelvinchang99 has bought 2 sets I believe) so it is possible, Hasbro's just.... ah well, futile to comment further
