So I thought... what could Ozformers do for Wreckers Awareness Week? Well, duh. We got all the UK toys here! We should totally take pictures of toys who appear in Last Stand of the Wreckers!

Oh yeah -- plus check out all his Wreckers-related sigs you can use! AWESOMESWEETNESS!!

Anyway... bugger 'week'. I say we make this the dump thread for any pictures of any characters from the Wreckers!

I'm still trying to remember how I scored Pyro years ago. He (along with Stalker, two Predator jets and three Turbomaster cars) just randomly turned up in a toy box with my Spawn figures, and I have no idea how they got there, considering this was well after the Great TF Purge of 1990.

Reading about the wreckers, theres been a lot of incarnations but these guys seem to be always a core group part of it. Kinda like the Big 7 if were talking about JLA.

As for Versions, there's been several versions in different storylines and several memberships that often border on the .. wtf? that's no autobot!... well here's all the TFs I can scrounge up who's been a part of in A version of wreckers.... ooops forgot to include Rodimus, ah well...tough hahaha:D

Carnivac didn't really join the Wreckers. He was just among the survivors of the Time Wars who decided to join together. He was formerly in the Decepticon Mayhem Attack Squad.

I forgot to include Magnus! Although I am not sure if he is actually a Wrecker in the comic or just providing transport for them.

Yeah I thought he just tagged along long enough I think to Avenge Catilla if memory serves me , but since he was associated with them ( sorta like Devcon- in the Botcon version) Ive put him in heheheh:p

Actually, after the Time Wars the Wreckers no longer exist.

Carnivac, Catilla and Skids are part of a NEW team called "The Survivors" -- they're never members of the Wreckers proper. I'd also dispute Inferno -- but there's evidence in both directions for him as a member of the team.

Added the 'spoilers' bit to the topic title, in case all these characters being revealed spoils it for others, or delves into commenting on their role in the comic (plot details).

This is one comic I'm looking forward to reading, but all these pretty pictures might mean I'll have to come back to this topic when the TPB comes out... :(

If you want the character profiles (one in issue #1, none in issue #2, and two in issue #3, that we know of) then get the singles, apparently, they wont be reprinted in any trade collections...

Well that's not fair.
The TPBs always have something extra in them... so are they now forcing collectors to buy both singles and TPBs just to get all the extra/good stuff? At least, I hope not.

Isn't the fact that the trade paperbacks "always have something extra in them" inherently unfair for people who buy the single issues, though? (I've felt that way since the Dreamwave days.) The only way to be fair would be to never have anything in one format that wasn't in the other.

I mostly agree Sky Shadow, same for both singles and the trade.

A cover gallery in the trade is fair, as often the inside cover of the single issues shows all the potential covers anyways.

And as for the character profiles, Roche has said that they wont be included, but who knows what IDW will do in a few months time?

I like movie Ironhide as Roadbuster, not a combo I would have thought of. Need a Movie Tomahawk repainted as Rotorstorm, a movie stockade as Ironfist and the commander Guzzle figure!

Yes, but while Drift did work with the Wreckers, he was not a member of the Wreckers. Similar to how Ultra Magnus worked with the G1 Wreckers but was also not a Wrecker himself -- or Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Quejack, Wheelie, Brains (and ostensibly Mirage) w/ the Movieverse Wreckers (Leadfoot, Top Spin and Roadbuster), but none of them are Wreckers either. Wreckers often work with other Autobots who aren't Wreckers. :) But having said that... liegeprime did post (http://otca.com.au/boards/showpost.php?p=153672&postcount=10) a photo of G1 Ultra Magnus w/ G1 & Beast Era Wreckers, so if he can do that, I don't see why you can't chuck Drift into a pic of the IDW Wreckers as someone who did actively collaborate with Wreckers. ;)

In terms of the second half, the unit with Kup, Springer and Roadbuster in All Hail Megatron isn't The Wreckers. If it was, then Blaster and Blurr would be Wreckers.
