I was never particularly happy with Blast Off as a tank, so when I saw this:

and had some spare Universe Aerialbots I knew I had to give it a try.
Thanks to my seven-year-old for the Blast Off parts (he drove a hard bargain :)) and my mother's partner with a shed full of useful tools (all I had was a paper cutter).
Keen observers may be able to make out the Autobot symbol; I plan to get some Decepticon stickers one day.
Alas Blast Off's joints are so tight (or I've put too much paint on him) that every time he is transformed he loses paint - for example, his tail fin can to be folded to either side so it doesn't stick out when he's in robot mode, but each time the tail connector is stripped of paint - so you will have to wait a while to see him on Bruticus. :p
