There are actually two of these listed -

Item 1 (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/00-Transformers-G1-Reissue-Frenzy-Blue-Laserbeak-Black_W0QQitemZ190358105834QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_D efaultDomain_0?hash=item2c523a2eea)
Item 2 (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Transformers-G1-Reissue-Frenzy-Red-Laserbeak-Black_W0QQitemZ390131262798QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_D efaultDomain_0?hash=item5ad5a2a54e)

The real kick-in-the-teeth is the seller states -

It is the Original Product(Not Fake)

For anyone that has not come across the KO tapes, check out this link (http://www.highendtfs.com/?q=node/20).

Either he doesn't know, or he is one of those sellers trying to scam people. Personally, I would say the latter if he clearly states it's not a fake. And for that amount of money, it is completely insane. Does an original one sell for that much?

Doesn't appear to be a scammer, as they are the only two fake TFs I can find in their current listing. Usually people will have quite a few listed, as their source of income. I sent them a message with the link, just in case they didn't know (and were victims themselves, thinking that they bought real figures). I also reported both to Ebay, just in case.

The easy tells are the silver screws (real Rumble/Frenzy has dark screws), and the yellow 'burst' pattern on the card going above the grid.

The second listing even has Rumble instead of Frenzy in the packaging.

None of the toys being sold are vintage, though. All of them (including these knockoffs) could only have been procured in the past few years, not anything like 1984. I don't think this is completely innocent.

Yea. It is an original KO product and not a fake KO. :)

I don't buy the fact that they don't know it's a KO. Postage is only US$10 international. If I were selling a vintage Frenzy / Laserbeak, I would make sure there were all measures of parcel tracking.

That's some crazy pricing!

Nope.

Both were removed soon after though, so they either believed me, or ebay stepped in.
