yup, just browsing through the catalogue, from 8/04 - 14/04, on last page, it says "20% off toys", I'm interpreting this as just toys in general (and I hope I'm right), which includes transformers :)

Yes, basically this sale is to free up room, its april, stock take is in mid may, we need to clear stock for 2 reasons.
1. stocktake
2. we will be getting huge shipments in now for the annual july toy sale, which is our biggest toy sale of the year. On saturday we put out bumblebee helmets and the gun thing (both of which are currently on sale) as well as the optimus crumplezone 2 pack, but they also put out a lot of voyager animated. I dont know if this if for the up coming sale, however it seems stupid to block so many shelves full of one toy line only to take it down on wednesday.
By the way, we got the voyager wave in with mindwipe and the weird color optimus, but some idiot deleted the code from the system, so they cant be sold until thats worked out.

hey, does this mean that the july sale would be even better (as in more savings), than this one? Just curious as I havent really paid attention to sales in previous years, I dont wanna buy something now if I can get it cheaper in july.

I dont want to tell you that the July toy sale will be better in ways of savings, because id be lieing if i said so. The july toy sale however, is the annual target toy sale which usually sees a lot of popular lines (like transformers) getting big reductions, however, I, nor my managers have any idea what will be on special, or what the exact prices and reductions will be. The earliest we will recieve a dummy catalogue would be mid to late june, (toy sale this year starts the 23rd july i think) Also, if your going to wait for toy sale you should either get your goods put on hold a few days before toy sale, or get there first day.

ok thanks for the tips, so now I know roughly when the july sale is going to start, which is very useful, just that I might hold out on buying some stuff now in favour of buying some different (or even newer) transformers at the july sale

Any sightings of the current NEST deluxes at Target?

None on the shelves. There were nest voyager boxes on a cage in the dock, along with a whole lot of other hasbro boxes, but the dock staff are assholes and wouldnt let me even near the cage.

Aren't Deluxes about $28 at Target these days? You don't get them much cheaper at 20% off than buying them at Big W (or waiting for a Kmart 20% off toys sale).

Are they? your probably right.
Too bad Big W doesn't have any stock these days, Kmart seems to be the place to buy toys these days.

Correction. Target have deluxes for $29 so it's $23.20 today. ROTF Voyagers however come down to $39.20 which is a nice price.
