I always am sceptical when I hear of a Big W sale. They never seem to have what they advertise on the shelf even when I go there at 6 am for their 'big' sales.

The standard response is always "Is it on the shelf? If it's not on the shelf, we have sold out".

Rouse Hill Big W is notorious for their poor customer service. I even had one chick sigh under her breath when I approached the counter to buy something. She went on a rant saying "how am I supposed to finish this stocktake when customers repeatedly come and bother me... oh, I don't mean you".

It's great that they've got a sale starting, but I agree with 5FDP, both of the Big W's around my area never have any decent stock anyway... even when you go there first thing.

Hmm...

Well I was at Big W at Chullora on Sunday, and there was 1 bludgeon, and 2 mindwipes, and decent amount of stock of TFA and ROTF.
Also Rotf Leader Prime and that shadow repaint megs.

Nothing interesting to me though.

thursday is still two days away... and you saw it on sunday, could be gone by then :p specially since I think bludgeon is quite a sought out toy? in the big w's near me, they have a good amount of deluxes but very few voyagers (mostly just starscream in robot mode), so hopefully they'll restock

Yeah that's one of my local stores, but as christalcase mentioned, they'd probably be sold by Thursday so hopefully they do a restock.

I added Bludgeon ages ago and none of the other ROTF toys interest me, but I'm semi-tempted to get Rambo Ironhide, purely cause I like how he's armed to the teeth! :D

And if not that early, then definitely by 6pm. Ive gone into my local store on Wednesday nights and gotten the next weeks prices on items.

So for once I was able to take advantage of the sale and get what I had been hanging out for. Recon Ironhide and Bludgeon!

No, don't get me wrong, the TF pickings in Launceston are actually pretty damn good - there's a Myer, Target, Kmart and Toyworld, and I can go to the local toy wholesaler too if that fails. The only things we miss out on here are those damned exclusives.

Nothing more infuriating than store exclusives at stores that don't exist.Tell me about it -I live in Forth and am carless so the best I'm able to do is a fortnightly trip to Burnie with the folks - I'm down on Tuesday and am just gonna try for Target (which didn't have any earlier this week so I'm hoping for a weekend stock) and try for price matching. They did it before so fingers crossed...

Nice to see I'm not the only Tasmanian Ozformer btw.:)
