Just kidding - It looks pretty awesome but I would have preferred Shockwave to be a 'larger than life' end of level boss during the Autobot campaign as that would give him more of an 'awe' feel that the character deserves.

From what I have read, it's only available through pre-order and will only be a playable character through multiplayer.

I'm not pre-ordering my copy nor will I be playing multiplayer. Sucks to be me I guess...

I heard somewhere that you can't get him outside of the US, but I could be wrong.

I will only preorder it from EB or anywhere else if it has something better than just an extra character to play. Odds are they will have something, at least I hope. I'll still buy it when it comes out, providing I have something to play it on :p

I won't pre-order it. I will buy it once it's released internationally. I don't want to spend $110 for just one game while the rest of the world enjoys it for half the price or less.

Based on this statement there's actually not much incentive to pre-order.
He's only available to use in ONE mode of Multiplayer?
So we can't even use him in Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch etc.

And you can see that the RRP is aparently $79.95.
So who knows, maybe the basic game will be that price.
Still no mention of a special edition though...

Shockwave looks pretty sweet, pity I might not ever get to use him.

It's probable that the front of his 'jet' mode resembles the G1 space gun closely. We may have just gotten a bad angle of it.
