I've had a look at samples of each product and I can tell you the product is top rate and well worth the money.

Basically if this goes ahead I will be going on a majority rules system.

Please don't just fob this off as I have put alot of time and effort into this.

Deceptic_Optics made them. :) I carry some with me at all times - and whenever I come across someone wearing TF apparel or a car with a TF badge, I give them a card (if the car is parked I stick a card on the windscreen) ;) I've also written a random Transformers trivia fact on the back of each card (which fact is unique to that card).


I quite like the look of it, and I think the URL will get more people looking if we want to advertise it a bit.
The only thing that turns me off about the URL is that I usually wear football shirts for school sport, and I don't want to be advertising this board at school. But that's just my own personal reason -- if most other people want the URL then that's fine... it just means I won't be wearing my shirt as much. 10 years ago I tried to organise a football (soccer) team comprised of Transfans to enter into the Sydney Anime Clubs Soccer League - so we would be competing against teams from AnimeUNSW (Team Crunky), Sydney Uni Anime (Tsunami Ninjas), Anime@UTS (SLUTS*) and JAUWS (I forget their team's name) -- MacqU's anime club was really tiny back then so their members just joined onto UNSW's (though except for one dude most of the MacqU guys hardly ever turned up for training or matches :p). But alas it never took off as we had very little interest from members here.

But perhaps we could have an occasional casual soccer game at outdoor social meets. At last week's Parramatta Picnic in Sydney I think it would've been nice - if the event had run longer - if we could've had something like a friendly soccer game happening. :) Now if this the case then perhaps we would need two shirt variants (so we can have at least two teams) -- MV75 suggested faction symbols... this would be a cool idea. :D

Teams, that is a nice idea.

And yea, to expand on my suggestion, not just auto/cons, but every faction symbol. So you can show what series and side you're most fan of.

IMO Back design will be copied from pic 2 (con design) for all jerseys (possibly to save us some dosh at the printers)
but obviously colour, number and name changes will be changed to suite.

Also could i get some opinions on our oz-formers logo you will see in pic 2 i have placed it as a sleeve design. like it to stay there? hate it there move it?

Or if for the sake of spending more money have a sew on patch or iron on patches so you can put it on wherever you want!

Im not sure about the legalities of putting faction symbols on them? But I do think there needs to be Autobot/Decepticon like colour schemes.. cos to me red and yellow (i k nwo they are the 'company' colours so to speak) Is just a bit to "good guy" for me.

BUt, as someone mentioned, are we not gonna get in trouble for the faction symbols? Being so big and obvious as they are? What if it was reversed and we get the faction symbols somewhere else?

some suggestions mebbe you can play around with Hammerstorm
1. Replace the faction symbols with the otca logo, but the art design and color for each supposed faction (red, purple, etc) keep it there, this is to help determine that its gonna be a decepticon or autobot or etc..

2. have the faction symbol on the sleeve where the OTCA logo was. Oh and yeah prolly add the Website address instead on the sleeves below the sigils.

3. can we have yellow instead of purple for the bar sunburst at the back - it is kinda our color in OTCA so having it would make it our uniform color for both/all factions.

4. OOOrr another variation would be to put the small faction symbol on top of the name at the back. Mebbe if it wasnt so large and conspicuous we might get away with using the sigils? I m trying to make it appear so that were not so dependent on the sigils so if Hasbro decides nope were not stuck.

5. Is there a Cobra one? Id love that!!:D:D

Well that's about it... I know my own prev design had a large sigil slanted, but when I remembered how Hasbro is here in Aus and their non supportive attitude with Logo use ( old convention story I heard) Im just wary coz I really want us to have Ozformer shirts... TFSG, and TFPH have theirs and I think TFW might have their own. Wouldnt it be awesome if Griffin and the guys wear these on the upcoming Botcon (if they'll wear em).
Kinda represents us but subtlely with the faction symbols being NOT the focus of the design? and if Hasbro decides , nope we wont allow that, at least its easier to get rid of the smaller sigils since the designs are not dependent on it at all? Granted the design variation I have in mind might not be FULL on WOW impact but hey, Im just being cautious... it is supposedly an Ozformer shirt, not just another TF shirt.

But if the general concensus is keep the design as is, Id still buy it , 3-5 even- as a gift to my cousins. Saves me the hassle of thinking what to give on Bdays:):)

Hmm I'm going to be annoying and say I liked the original designs, just because I liked their simplicity. I'm not a huge fan of the tattoo-like designs or the enormous faction symbols, it just seems a bit too 'busy'. Thats just my opinion though, and regardless of my thoughts Hammerstorm, you've done a great job :)
But yes, simplicity and subtlety are best IMO. And a Url somewhere perhaps.

I highly doubt it. First of all, Transformer logos are being used everywhere on unlicensed products like car badges, apparel, bags etc. Secondly, as heroic_decepticon mentioned on another thread, infringing on copyright isn't necessary illegal per se (although he admits that his knowledge on IP law is limited).

One way to get around this - for Sabretron 2004 we gave away free unlicensed convention exclusive Transformer comic books and toys for free. Attendees paid an admission fee for the convention of course. Also, at last year's SMASH! convention, we gave away free exclusive comic books and an exclusive toy as a draw prize - all unlicensed. Contestants paid a small fee to participate in the game in order to have their names placed into the lottery. So... ya know... *cough.cough* ;)

Would the final designs be available in one colour? Because a black jersey/shirt is not good to wear in the sun and when summer comes around :p

A suggestion from me is to maybe choose a simple footy team's jersey scheme for the layout of colours/stripes/etc, but the actual choice of colours would of course be different??

Back looks great, otca logo is great, I think though that the line-burst things on the back should be carried through on the front too (like the original design) otherwise it looks like two shirts meshed together.. then with a small faction symbol in the centre of the chest. I dunno, I prefer it in the centre, but no one's bought that up. IMO I find, especially if its iron-on or something, having it on the sides can distort how the shirt falls, plus it gives more balance to the shirt *shrugs*

The printer asked me to submit all designs to him and he'll see what he can do as far as price goes. So foranyone that wants the red shirt (original design) they would have to fill the white in with the same shade of red or give the printer the logo in the requested file type.

its got the logos, which is small and simple and doesn't scream out with it overpowers the whole shirt
its got the OTCA logo
its got the proper hint of color coded accent which helps in, factions wise
its got the OTCA website and a provision for our individual handles and choice of Numbers

now as Bartrim says, somebody get the design for an autobot and lets roll with these two and get the shirts done!!:D:D

OK guys managed to get back into the office for a couple of hours this arvo. These are the designs we can choose from.

The next step is what style of shirt/jersey we want. Our Options are
Ice Hockey $50
Field Hockey $43
Sports t-shirt $35
plain t-shirt $25

So basically we need 50 of any combination of shirts with a minimum of 5 of any chosen shirt.

The big question is are we going to be able to agree on a style of shirt?

From what the printer said to me the reason that suppliers sizes are so big is because they do alot of ice hockey shirts and they need the extra room for padding. Then they've just kept the same size chart across the whole range of their products.

It's up to Hammerstorm to darken the purple a bit. He's the guy that designed them. Once the order is submitted the colour is final.

Surely this doesn't represent the Sports shirt sizing correctly in the chest area as they don't need to accomadate padding from Ice Hockey protection. I can see people changing to teen sizes only to find out that they will be too short in length. I'm hoping my decision to go with a medium adult is the correct one here. Can you get these people to double check their sizing as it's very unclear or I find it hard to believe that it is correct:o

2 things, is that the final shade for the Decepticon, because to me, it looks a little too pink.


It's up to Hammerstorm to darken the purple a bit. He's the guy that designed them. Once the order is submitted the colour is final.

just as a precautionary measure Bartrim mention that the color is solid
that is why i included the symbols for color matching.

although i took a fair amount of time there is bound to be some flaws of color (eg red bordering) if you zoom in you can see it.

I wear a Giordano shirt size - SMALL, Jayjay shirts - MEDIUM. It is quite confusing coz different brands Im a different in sizing as well, plus they dont have a sizing chart so I have no idea what proper size should be.......will they be able to lend you sample sizes shirts to bring at parra fair... or is sunday too far already - do we need to place the order soon?

We have 2 options for the sports t-shirt
Sports T 100% polyester 190GSM

Sports T 70% polyester/30% cooldri 190GSM


and the field hockey and ice hockey shirts are both polyester 100% 230GSM

Well I included the measurements in centimetres maybe thats the best way to double check. The Cybertron University T-shirt was released about 2years ago I think. Probably internet would be the best way of tracking one down now.

I rang to confirm after I measured my sample the way it is laying in the picture and it measures 50cm across the chest. Yes across not all the way around and their measurements list Medium (my sample size) as 48-50.

I rang to confirm after I measured my sample the way it is laying in the picture and it measures 50cm across the chest. Yes across not all the way around and their measurements list Medium (my sample size) as 48-50.

+1 on my size... need time to go measure and estimate the size for your supplier. might revert to XXL or even XL is sufficient.

LOL yes. My only regret was I couldn't get the camera out of my bag in time. I think XL will be fine as we have to remember as the width increases so does the length of the shirt. Measure a jays jays shirt that fits you Gok and get back to me please?:)

Sky Shadow has already told me if he can't get enough for a Blendtron then that'll drop off the list giving us 48. iceburn has said he is willing to change his Quintesson shirt to a wreckers if need be. That'll give us 3 wreckers shirts but still leaves us wanting.

Are people willing to change their order? If so great. If not then we have to wait until others order and we get enough.
