On again, off again... the release of this item is so unreliable.
It was delayed until May, but now it is put off again until July.

For crying out ...

ML Soundwave needs his 'partner'
I also want to have another reason to take Ravage to work and 'impress' the work people.

This is the TF figure I have been looking forward to most since DL Ravage and they keep screwing around with it..

Have they actually given any sort of decent explanation as to why they are having trouble with it?

How about this for wild speculation? The usb hub has to carry a current to power devices but the plastic used can't handle the heat generated and warps at a critical area. That's the only thing I can think of.
Yes the delay sucks

Please forgive my stupid question, but I have just done a google image search on the device label blaster and he seems to turn into a laptop, is that right ? If so, does anyone know the specs for it ?

Specs are Omega, a 4 port USB 2.0 Hub.
Hope that helps.

As Hursticon said, it's actually a USB hub, not an actual working laptop if that's what you thought.

Yep, it kust looks like a laptop, but is quite small (pics of the product should show the USB ports on the sides, for a sense of scale - only 2 can fit on each side).

TakaraTomy has updated their website to confirm the current release date of end of July.
http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/TF/products/device/hub.html

Price should be 6,825 yen (about AU$90).

Another figure I must own, but at least it wont be sold out by the end of July, hopefully.

I wonder what his scale is like when compared to ML Soundwave?

Less than 10 days to go, after such a long time! Here's a pic from Dengeki Online (http://news.dengeki.com/elem/000/000/281/281226/img.html).

The previous pictures had a Qosmio badge on the front i think, which is now missing. At this point i can't say that bothers me much :p

Why can't they also release a USB Steeljaw? It's much more fitting than a Cheetor or Tigatron. I also want an Overkill Mouse .

Already? That was fast... for something that wasn't expected to do too well.
I was putting it off to next week to order one, and was even going to offer a group order for Brisbane members.
So much for that idea. I'll have to see if they get more in later, and put up with their even higher price.

It's back in stock (http://robotkingdom.com/services/eshop/main.php?action=details&CatType=&II=TFDE005&lang=us), likely someone added a shitload to cart for some reason. They have more than 100 and the price is 58.90

Excellent... that should be enough to last until next week. :)

Nice gallery/review of DL Blaster (http://higekumatoytoy.blog60.fc2.com/blog-entry-790.html).

I'd be even more excited if it was a fake USB Hub, like the Real Gear figures, so that it was half the price... then it'd be more of a 'toy' for me.
