I know I am. I'm going to get the PC version, because I don't have an Xbox 360 or a PS3, and I'm not too interested in the DS version.

If there's an option for making multiplayer groups, I'm going to create an Ozformers group.

Will end up getting the PS3 version for sure!

But maybe not straight away, will wait till the price goes down a bit, or I end up trading in some games if I'm impatient :p

Prices of new games in New Zealand are stupid.

I will get it as there is a lot of evidence suggesting that it's a worthwhile game.

The PC version is my format of choice as it allows for the best possible graphics and sound as well as customization.

Ode, What are your PC specs? And remember that you don't need to buy a PC game at $110 - There are other fairer options.

PC is my Poison, for all the reasons that Kup has stated, that and I don't own either a PS3 or an XBox360. :p

I'll be getting this on PS3 for sure.. It's already looking like the best TF game made while the competition hasn't been that strong the Rotf game was alright.

Sidethought: I wish there were more robot mech games. Remember back when they we're popular? Mechwarrior, Heavy Gear? It's been a long dry spell for the genre. But Mechs are popular in movies Avatar, District 9 etc. I want a modern awesome mech game - Modern MechWarrior

They haven't released specs yet but here is my guess based on the current norm:

Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows XP
Processor: Core 2 DUO @ 2 GHz
Memory: 2 GB
Hard Drive: 20GB Free space
Video Memory: 256 MB (NVIDIA GeForce 7800GT/ATI X1900)
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
DirectX: 9.0c
Keyboard and Mouse
DVD Rom Drive

Edit: Updated with better matching specs respective of the genre.

There's no difference between them right?
Then it sorta depends on what the controls are like when I'm choosing between PC or PS3.
Not that I have a PS3, but if this worked better on console I would consider getting one.
Though I have a good PC controller anyways, if it's they type of game that should use a controller.
Just so long as there isn't any lame online verification rubbish, I can't stand that.

That's coz when Microsoft took over the Mechwarrior franchise, they kinda blew it. Still love those games though.

Anyhow, I will probably buy it on PC coz I don't have Xbox or PS3. Though I will get the DS versions, and maybe the Wii version because I heard the Wii version was a bit different to the others? I could be wrong though :p

Checking the specs of my other games, I'm pretty sure my PC could handle that.

Anybody who wants to play this game with a controller but on PC should consider just buying one of the PC Xbox 360 controllers. Should work a charm.

If I get this game it'll be Xbox 360. Probably don't want to spend too much until I know it's amazing however.

Yeah I have been thinking about that since I trashed my Cheapo PC controller playing X-Men Legends II and Marvel Alliance.

My PC should meet system specs as I can currently play all contemporary games at full graphics - However my Dual core CPU is certainly the oldest component so at worse I will need to buy a new one. That ain't a problem as that upgrade is still much cheaper and better than a console (My opinion).

I believe that this is the type of game that would benefit from a controller but the PC Keyboard should be very adequate due to it's versatility. Personally, I am going to aim for a controller as that seems to be how the game is meant to be played.

When it comes to different versions - The PC, PS3 and XBox are essentially the same with some variations between graphics and sound quality and possibly freedom of customization when it comes to the PC version.

Apparently the Wii and DS consoles are 'adapted' versions due to the hardware shortcomings of said consoles. Therefore the Nintendo versions are likely to be 'lesser' than the other consoles.

Ps3 for me! Hell yeh me gets. Probably will pre-order somewhere, but not EVB for obvious reasons.

Might get the DS versions if they are cheap enough and the wii if it is different and not crappy

I personally doubt there will be figures with Special Editions of the game given the Generations released toys. However all games these days have Special Editions of varying quality so we may still get something pretty awesome or just a massive XXXL T-Shirt :)

Depending on the popularity of a game, I have seen console games drop in price by just $20 after 8 months or more from $110 so it may be a long wait.

The best option for a standard release is not to buy locally (retail) and if you are getting the PC version it's just around AU$30-$35 shipped - It's the same release that you would have gotten at EB games so no need to wait.

With the exchange rate as it is, I find Ebay UK very handy. Exact same version of the game and usually at least half the price. Managed to get Uncharted 2 and Ghost busters fot $120 for both including posateg, just after Uncharted 2 came out.

Still sometimes games drop real quick like. Picked up Dark Vod for $30 about 2 months after release. Mainly due to it being a bit on the crappy side. But fun for $30 ;)

Kyle, get the PS3 version, then we can play togevver!:D

I wouldn't mind though if they gave us a TShirt or a Generations toy in advance of the wave.

just so everyone knows, its $79.97 RRP on the PS3/360. PC should be cheaper.

i was thinking, this should have been a poll. though i can tell the majority is ps3.

I may get it - it comes out just as I go on mid year holidays from uni.

I've not been overly impressed or moved to get it from the screens and videos we've seen, and re multiplayer I don't really just want CoDformers, which is what it looks like.

I'll wait and see really. I know Tetsuwan Convoy is getting it and is organising a meet for it, so I'll give it a look there.
