Tomy Movie Figurines in Australia

Saw these a few weeks ago, but finally got some photos. Someone here posted a month ago about getting a couple of these as well.

I've been seeing a lot of these Tomy (the international name of TakaraTomy) coin-operated figurine dispensers, and several times I've seen their Transformers one. (there look to be a dozen different toyline dispensers) I've seen them in major shopping centres and newsagents, in blocks of 4 or 8 different dispensers.

The Transformers one is $2, and you randomly get one of the following figurines - Starscream, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Brawl, Blackout, Optimus, Ironhide, Megatron.

Note that they are 2007 Movie figures, packaged as 2009 Movie (ROTF) figures. Pity they are random, as I'd want a set, but don't want to spend a fair bit of money trying to get them all and being left with multiples.

This is the best shot I could get of the sample figures on display above the dispenser. They look to be metallic coloured plastic figurines.

For any fans in NSW that are interested in getting some of these, I saw them at the main shopping centre in Merrylands last week.

Bought a few myself but stopped when I ended up getting two of Brawl.

They are made of plastic and come with a black stand for each (no peg holes to affix the toy to though).

I certain we have ROTF ones here! I swears I remember seeing Long Haul in the display. I'll have to confirm when I'm out again.

Those Gashapons are finally turning up everywhere, my $2 coins are eaten by those machines for their DBZ toys all the time.

Both Blacktown and Mt Druitt centres in NSW have multiple machines with this set of figures available

Managed to get Bee, Prime and Ratchet so far, but I do like saving my $2 coins as well

i've got 2 whole sets of those. 1 is sealed in their balls still.
i've got lots of spares which i've also started to give away to those whom have bought stuff from me... :D

What turns me off them is that most of them are just tiny shiny versions of the FAB toys.
