Power Core Combiners and Yellow-pack TFs now in AUS

Member Major_K alerted us to these arriving to a Toyworld in Brisbane yesterday, so I went in this morning to check it out and take some pics. Bought some too...

On the shelves were the PowerCore Combiner 5-packs, as well as the Yellow-packed Scouts and Legends. I spoke to one of the people there, and they also have the Yellow-packed Voyagers (Seaspray, Payload, Night Ops Ratchet) but can't put them out until they have prices from Head Office. This is because prices are different to the red-packed figures (see below). When I told her that these are the first released in Australia (and probably the world), she said that they'd make sure they were out for the weekend. No confirmation on the 2-packs, but if Major_K saw their master cartons as well, then they will be there this weekend too.

Yellow Packaging scouts - $17.99 ($1 more than red-packed Scouts)
Hubcap, Backfire (repaint of Reverb), Brimstone, and Crankstart (repaint of the dune buggy)

Yellow Packaging Legends - $7.99 ($1 more than red-packed Legends)

anyway I am very surprised saw them first in Australia and in Brisbane too! $40 for the powercore combiners isnt THAT bad in my opinion, and they're pretty well designed for scouts, although I'll probably get one when they go down to $20 (i.e. never)

ye I was pretty excited but I didnt have the courage to go and ask about the voyagers... I didnt see Brimstone although I didnt search very hard, oh well I'll probably go back next week to see if they have gotten the voyagers out

I went at around 10:20am and stayed til around 10:40am or so

Sightings have now come in from WA, SA, QLD and VIC - mostly at Toyworlds and a DJs store.
Still just five assortments though - Power Core Combiners 2-packs, PCC 5-packs, Hunt For The Decepticons Legends, HFTD Scouts, HFTD Voyagers.
(was hoping the Leader class would have been released as well for the new Starscream)

I spoke to my local Toys R Us today and these are all in the computer system, with heaps of figures coming to be shared amongst the stores across the country. No release date yet.

Considering Scouts are $18, and Minicons are usually 3 for $12-18 (making each $4-6), a $20 2-pack isn't overpriced at all. These are supposed to be US$10 in America, about the same price as a Deluxe, so having them cheaper than a Deluxe here is a good thing.


Guess you won't have anything to get in the USA this year griffin...

It's looking that way with the current stuff. But if it is true that America aren't getting the new stuff until August, I'm not gonna end up being able to buy them cheap there in June anyway.
(Still gotta save more money for the old stuff purchases though...)

They had the yelow Voyagers and Power Core scouts at Southport Toyworld, ReillyD, So maybe check out Runaway bay who usually have more stuff.

Ring around first. I rang all the south-side Toyworlds and the Springwood store was the only one that said they had the PCCs, so went there this morning to get the 2-packs. If you are after the HFTD toys, the CBD store has them, but others should have them within a week or two, including the GC stores.

I've gone DJ. To have a look at the HftD legends and they cost $6.95, which is the same as normal legends sold. Not sure y there's the slight $1 price increase in TWs

I just found them at the Mulgrave Toyworld today. No sign of the 2packs but I found the scouts, legends, and Bombshock and Skyburst in the boxes in the toy isle. they're in the system and have stickers, but not put on the hooks yet. They're in boxes in the isle with the normal action figures, at the end facing the road.

Now being sighted at BigW stores - the new Legends ($7) and PCC 2-packs ($16). A decent price for the 2-packs, as they are Scouts with a Minicon, for about the same price as a regular Scout.
Maybe the 5-packs will be closer to $30 at BigW.

I don't think anyone has seen the 5-packs at BigW yet, but when they do appear, they will be $29.62 (which is a nice price, almost Deluxe price for something being marketted as a Voyager).
