Looking good Gok.
This is one of my newer ones. I kind of cheated by using outside as a light source. (only have one white lamp)

Because he has no light piping, I decided to make his eyes glow. Didn't take long.

Nuthin' wrong with using natural sunlight. It's great! :D Most of my photos are taken at night cos I often don't have time during the day. :o Anyway, been having more fun with MP Soundwave today. :D

It's such a silly concept when you think about it. Why would Soundwave need to press buttons to operate himself?!? That's like say every Autobot car having to activate avatars to drive themselves, open doors etc. Weird. Tailgate's avatar couldn't even reach the pedals or see over the steering wheel for one. :p

Bidoof, the natural light really helps bring out the proper colours in your TC. gives it a much more realistic feel.

The MP does have a fair amount of engineering in it though... but still, not worth paying full RRP for. IMHO MP06 was the last TakTOM MP that was worth paying full price for. :(
IMO the best way to collect MPs now is either:
(a) Pre-order and pay a discounted price
(b) Wait and see if you can get the toy on sale
(c) Wait and see if Hasbro releases a cheaper local version

Great shots there, KalEl! :) Have you considered taking a pic of him in his "artillery robot mode (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=hAviBOD9ukY#t=178s)"? ;) (not even an official mode for the toy, but it really shows that the BW animators actually played with the toys that they based their CGI models on! :D :))

Not a real action pose, but I ceebs to make a new thread for it.
TakTOM AM Frumble don't come with any Decepticon logos in robot mode (only in vehicle mode), and Hasbro's Shadow Strike Bumblebee doesn't come with any Autobot logos anywhere :rolleyes: -- so I rummaged for some spare stickers and stuck 'em on. The Decepticon logos are from TFP AM Thundercracker (it comes w/ 2 spare Decepticon logos; probably intended for the wings, but IMO the chest logo is sufficient). The Autobot logo is from that set of Autobot logos that comes with Gadep (I previously used another one for TFPRiD Wheeljack). I initially wanted to apply Bumblebee's logo on a part of the robot that wouldn't be visible in vehicle mode, but the mid chest section is too small, the shoulders are small and rounded (making it hard for the sticker to stay on since it keeps wanting to remain flat no matter how much I rubbed it). It can fit on the shin, but then it just looks weird IMO. Also, there's a slight scratch on the yellow stripe (factory error) where I've placed the sticker, so it helps to cover that up. :p

It's inexcusably shocking that Hasbro continues to neglect to put logos on toys. You'd think they'd learn after neglecting to put one on Deluxe Knockout, Soundwave and Wheeljack previously... and Animated Voyager Optimus Prime a few years before that. All the Cyberverse toys have tampographed logos, why not all the larger and more expensive figures?!? :confused:

Yep. I put less intensity on the edges and shadows in Shockwave, plus the fact that the Soundwave had a much more defined shadow in the original picture.
I'm still playing around with stuff, trying to get the best look I can. :cool:;)

had some new additions to my masterpiece collection ( sideswipe , soundwave and the cassettes ) and i've always wanted to display my mp collection in an action scene but my display cabinet just doesnt have enough room so i hijacked the lounge table and spent my Friday night creating this , images are pretty crappy as they're just phone photo's ( wtb dslr but i spend to much money on tf's :P )

to make up for the blury images, its soundwave with lazerbeak perched on his shoulder examining prime with his whatchamacallit and aiming megatron at him , grimlock attacking soundwave but frenzy ( ribfir :P ) is piledriving him. Red alert is aiming his shoulder cannon at skywarp with ravage behind him poised to jump onto his back , red alert is firing his gun at thunder cracker with buzzsaw pecking at his face .
starscream is shooting prime in the back and rodimus is sniping him from over the side. all in all was quite a bit of fun and definately not something i've done in a long time !

Thanks, but I actually prefer the Ultimate (ultra only really) size than the Voyager coz it fits in better to both the larger figures and the Cyberverse one.

Ironically it's the Justice League Animated Watchtower. I just stuck a decepticon sigil I cut out from one of the paper scraps in some TF packaging. Dunno if you saw the one gdmetro had bought this last Parramatta fair. We were trying to disassemble his, but it was harder than we thought :p - pics in the last Parra fair thread. :D

Sadly he doesn't hold the sword very well. It was a very loose grip only suitable for taking pics. I certainly wouldn't display him with the Master Sword in hand in fear that it could fall off at any time. :o Playability with the sword is completely out of the question. :p

Planet X Genesis is such an awesome take on Omega Supreme. I picked him up a while ago too and have absolutely no regrets. He fits so well in either Generations/Classics or WfC/FoC displays.

Those lights he comes with really make the figure I think. Not to mention the secret rocket and base mode that isn't in the instructions. Such a nice touch and homage to G1.

Great action shots btw. Captured the awesomeness of the figure nicely.

Shiny.Yep. I really like this photo but I have no love for this paint scheme IRL. I took the photo with the iPhone 3gs camera and used a Pro HDR app in which I 'warmed' up the colours a little. I am selling two of these in another thread so I just want to disclose that Platinum Grimlock doesn't normally look like this.
