An upcoming 2-pack exclusive for Japan is of a translucent Animated Optimus and Rodimus toys. A scan of a recent JP Hobby magazine gives us a look at what the toys will look like.

These are to be released as part of TakaraTomy's 2010 TFs campaign.
The two-pack is priced at 4,725 Yen (about AU$60), with a release date of July 24th.

As a sucker for transparent toys, I like the look of these.

There is another Rodimus/Prime 2 pack, but I think it's just the normal Deluxe Rodimus and Voyager Prime. I think the earlier rumors of a clear Activator Prime are now false, or at least not bundled with Rodimus.

Anyone know why the 2-pack is released in July yet the single version of Rodimus isn't due until August?

Always!

Pre-ordered as soon as I saw the scans. :C
The question now is will the demand for Takara Rodimus go the same way as Arcee did?
