EB Games has WFC downloads with pre-order

Apparently if you pre-order WFC from EB games, you get the Shockwave AND Jazz downloads as a bonus for both PS3 and Xbox.

Better than just one I guess so it is Kinda tempting, but they are only available for online play, in "escalation mode." Thats a shame really, no real time to enjoy the modelling.

Not bad, unlike the US who apparently have to choose one or the other :p

But if only they actually came IN GAME instead of being downloadable - I can't access the online store on my PS3 at home :( (it's a big issue in my suburb with very poor accessibility)

Same with me, I don't have the means to download content for my PS3. You would think that the developers would make the characters accessible via a 'cheat code' mechanism without the need to take it online.

Anyway, this is good news for those that can.

To give you an idea on what I do with my home PC, I run a 10 meter long phone line into the kitchen every time I go on the internet. I don't run a wireless setup (tried and failed) and there is no phone line close to where my PS3 is :(

Well I guess thats the clincher, EB will probably be getting my money. The best decision me and my partner made was putting off getting the internet in our new place for 2 1/2 months (:eek:) untill we had decided on exactly the right internet provider - to find out later that they do free xbox live :D go iinet

I give up with talking to the people who work at these shops, I'm getting Release dates ranging from "any day now" to "could be months"
and when i ask people at EB about pre-order bonusses i get either a "No" or a confused look .... then a "no"
I'll just pre-order it online from EB and hope for the best

Umm, I'm not sure... :o I just know that I play Halo 3 and ODST online all the time, downloaded the Reach beta and all, at no charge to my monthly downloads. So far so good

Hey Autocon, if the local stores aren't being helpful and you're willing to wear $5 shipping you could order it online. Or, print out the webpage, go to the store and ask to see the manager.

Preordered mine instore at indro. The guys knew exactly what I was talking about, and pointed out the extras before I could say anything. :) Only time I'm paying full price for a ps3 game. EVER.
