The black redeco of MP Convoy with trailer, comes with a transparent (ghost) trailer.

I know this is just another repaint but i actually think it looks pretty good. a Lot more detail then some

I would have preferred a G1 or Classics painted grey for this tribute. Yet another MP Prime mold seems too much given the cost and that several collectors already have more than one.

It wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't just bought the black MP1 Convoy, but as some have mentioned, there are now so many versions of this mould now, and it isn't a cheap mould to want to fork out money on multiples.

I bought the MP Convoy, MP Magnus, MP Convoy w/ trailer, MP black Convoy, and both versions of Hasbro's Optimus (all for different reasons)... but six is enough for me. I already have a black Optimus/Convoy for the reason of an evil/dead version, I don't need a second black one. If I got this one, I would be inclined to get rid of the other one.

I'm just a sucker for transparent TFs, so would love to get this one.
They should have done the robot mode in transparent grey and black as well, to give it a real ghostly effect. I'd buy that quite easily.

I don't have this mould but out of all the MP OP's I'd really like to have this recolour the most :eek:.
Let me explain, the MP line is outside my budget but he looks more like a statue of a key TF moment to me.. sure I'd display him standing up but the key thing is non-fans would see him and ask "What's that?" And I'd say "That's dead Prime".

I don't think the transparent trailer matches the look of the cab; a smokey trailer or smokey ghost OP would go better. For a laugh (and if I could) I'd drag this bright cab behind MP Ghostscream :D.

But, to my eyes this latest deco looks to have no deep black, just that the core colours have been subdued/faded... ie dull red, dull blue. Personally i think the effect is much nicer like this than Black Convoy, for conveying that scene.

I noticed that too, it looks like Prime has just stepped out of an old faded photo. While he may not conform to an existing character or archetype, I find this repaint much more interesting artistically and clever than the Ultra Magnus and Black Convoy repaints.

I want to call this guy Prime Noir.
