I've been wanting to get a hold of the Golden Disks since I saw pics of them, I loved Beastwars and thought that these were absolutely necessary as they were a main fixture to the series. The Micromasters are in absolutely great condition and I'm digging the pair of them, now to trac down the little cop car to complete the emergency patrol. :D

Now all we need is a leader class Broadside for him to land on...Great toy though, love the chrome cockpit and thrusters (which, for people yet to purchase this fine toy, are hidden under the rear stabilisers in the packaging).

Thanks (and blame :mad:;)) to Heroic Decepticon for inspiring me to acquire my current holy grail and the greatest Transformer combiner of all time, Liokaiser! Additional thanks (and further blame) to him for also inspiring me to acquire them individually boxed (as opposed to in a boxset) for the great box art.

These are the legitimate Chinese reissues from 1995, and the figures are in wonderful condition. Good stickers, although one or too are sloppy placed. Tight, but not stiff joints, and no GPS damage.

That and the fact that if it was supposed to be there, even as a 1995 Chinese reissue, it would still predate any other reference to NEST by fourteen years.

It's also seemingly the only transparent (and textual) sticker. I can't come up with any sound theory explaining it.

I suspect the previous owner must have had an extra NEST sticker lying around at sometime over the past year and decided to stick it on there. It's literally a 21st century ROTF NEST sticker - it even has the insignia: http://tfwiki.net/w2/images2/4/4d/NEST_insignia.png

I went to Big W Campsie. There was a big fun fair there which had blocked off most of the road. I circled around and found no street parking and then I thought to dare and drive into the Shopping Center car park which was mad house but persisted with the streets. I circled for ages but suddenly I felt the touch and got the power to go into the eye of the storm and found parking!

I was lucky to find all 4 Generations toys. I took the last of them and felt very happy as I was very close to missing out. These toys are almost literally flying off the shelves leaving the crappy ROTF stuff in the dust.

I have not been toy hunting since 2007 for something that I was truly enthusiastic about. It's a good feeling and I hope its not another 3 years until the next time!

I don't think your toy is a KO, more likely that the previous owner decided to put the NEST stickers on Kilbison because he also has a 'bull' theme.

I'll check my Kilbison and let you know if the copyright stamps match.

I think you are safe. The copyright stamp on mine is almost identical except for it lacking the 'Made in China' bit and the other arm doesn't have a stamp.

That statement... doesn't make much sense :S

if they're both based on the same character model, it would make sense for it to be similar... in this case, they're both based on the same character, but different character models - one being his cybertron mode and the other being his earth mode... I think your statement would make a tad more sense if you mean that it's surprising how similar the two are eventhough one's the cybertron mode and the other's the earth mode - chalk that down to the actual designers of the robots though - the design was really similar between the two from the start :)

"Death" Starscream isn't that toy's actual name. It's just Starscream Black Version (Takara went through this phase where they did random black repaints. Thankfully that doesn't happen anymore! (http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/TF/products/mp/mp01b.html) :p ;)).

But I don't blame rampagesss for unofficially retconning it as "death" Starscream to give an otherwise random black repaint some purpose. I did the same thing with the JafCon 9 black version of Convoy (http://www.tfu.info/2000/Cybertron/JAFConvoy/jafconvoy.htm) (in the Gokiverse he's "Matrix Death Optimus Prime") :)

how do u know its not the other way around? in alt mode the guns sit more straight lined up in the brown ball joint. also looks more straight in robot mode when he his holding them. nevermind i was talking about pointing backwards and u pointing forwards in alt mode so they are the same:o

Other than the annoying blades that hinder elbow articulation when retracted, Prime is amazing. Also, the grill bottom halves can be extended to form heels for the feet. None of the pictures or reviews posted showed that before. Makes the figure more stable in robot mode.

Can you check klystron if its got the series face - chopper mouth and all? Just curious coz I got a Fox kids repaint one and , well the face has a faceplate and doesnt match what we saw in the CGI series. Cheers.

Carpet went in last Tuesday so it's close to being completed. I moved my new glass cabinet in there last night. I expect that it'll be up and running by the end of the month with updated collection pics to follow :D

Defender is new. I've had Combat Calibur for a while. Their combination of die cast, more matte colors and great detailing works well when displaying them together.

Defender is an engineering tour de force, the pièce de résistance!

This is for my son's 8th birthday next month. The poor little guy has been saving up his pocket money but at $2 a week it'd take him aaaaages. He was proud enough when he had saved up $11.
I'm a bit worried about the complexity level but I guess he can always call on me.
I've read some disquiet about its price but it seems alright to me. Individual Legends are $7, and this has seven figures making it $49. It would have been nice if the price was less for "buying in bulk", but at least it doesn't cost more than seven individual Legends.
