Found from one of the usual Asian sources, an oddly coloured Cybertron/Anniversary Beast Wars Megatron toy in a BotCon baggie.

(I've posted both links for the discussion/guesses of what it is)

Is it a homage, or just a new character like last year's set had?

And if it is a homage to an existing character, who could possibly match those colours. A Gen2 version of a character that was never released in Gen2 perhaps?

It has such a hideous colour scheme, the character and story behind it had better be something awesome to make up for it.

It looks like homage to Beast-Bot from the Go-Bots line (the recent Hasbro one, not the old Tonka one).

I was going to say G2 Grimlock but then the other colours on that mystery figure throw that idea well out of the park.

Possibly a G2 Firecon??

Kinda pointless without the cold sparks... but a very likely answer as to who the toy will be.

Hope it's general release (Bludgeon repaint Banzaitron was seen in a Botcon baggie at the proto stage).

I'm assuming it's based on the version of Beast-Bot that's a recolour of Invisiblity Force Reptron. And it could be Shattered Glass anyone or G2 Cindersaur.

People are leaning towards a Gen2 Cindersaur (the unreleased Firecon in Gen2).

Even if it is, it is a hideous colour scheme.

Heh, a Gen2 homage set - only half is related to Gen2, and now this one didn't even exist at all.

I like bright colours but that's even hurting my eyes:eek::D
