WFC demo from today at Xbox Live site (Gold Members)

Spoke to Activision today, to see if they would be doing anything similar here to America's ToysRUs Demos (from this week, people could demo the WFC game at TRU stores).

Unfortunately, we won't be seeing any playable demos in Australia at stores or in Gaming magazines, but...

...apparently the Xbox Live site, in the Gold Members section, the WFC Demo is up from today to be tested.

Not sure if this is just an Australian thing, or global, but if anyone here is Gamer enough to be a Gold Member of the Xbox Live site, you should be able to go play it (and let us know what it's like in the Review Topic).

Despite the limited exposure and publicity (Demos), apparently WFC has been well received by the retailers (their orders) and Gaming community (feedback), so should do well enough to see more games or expansions in the future.

Only another 2 weeks (12 days actually) until its release here on the 23rd.

just gave it a bash, apart from the lag it runs smooth. i dont think you can build your character much yet coz its only demo. theres scout, scientist soldier and leader classes. loving the little scout

been playing this, the lag killed me the first couple of times, but today it was fine.
it's only Scout and Soldier though, and two modes. so far pretty fun and good gameplay. getting used to it and it's pretty smooth, but I personally find the melee controls mucky...

Bad luck with the RROD

If it is any consolation, I am onto my 3rd Xbox 360 in 5 years.

I've had RROD twice and bought a new machine....

Back to the WFC - Its a pretty good game. I killed a few people.

I am definitely getting it for my 360.

The trailers were just as impressive!

Now I have to determine where to buy it from?

Hopefully Big W will have a release special of $79.95!

I wanna hear more about how the characters handle. Do they feel good, is transforming and figghting pretty smooth etc etc
