Well there was $200 I could have saved instead of getting the Henkei versions. I am still excited he is being released though. It shouldn't have those stripes on the wings just like Thrust doesn't have the lightning.

I just hope we don't have to wait until Classics 4.0 for Thundercracker.


Also, the Stealth Force is supposed to be deluxe vehicles with flip out weapons, ala M.A.S.K
With Human Alliance and now Stealth Force, Hasbro needs to pull the trigger and release a new M.A.S.K line

Yeah, I bought Generations Thrust and I will buy Generations Dirge. The seeker mould is one of my favourite moulds so they can keep going with it and give us Thundercracker, Sunstorm and maybe another Skywarp then a few more repaints. I would still buy it :)

@Raider: AFAIK most of the discussions Ive read in our forum are wishful thinkings, suggestions and speculations, so the Blurr repaint of Drift is as my statement is a wishful specultaion :D

Dirge and Blurr releases are great. As an owner of 2 ea. of the Henkei versions, I'm not saddened one bit. If given the choice today of a $25 Generations Thrust or $100 Henkei Thrust, I'd still take the Henkei every time. I never let price get in the way of perfection. :D Regardless, I'm happy for anyone who waited or just couldn't afford. Options are good.

As to the releasing of Thundercracker, I hardly see how the release of Dirge and Thrust ensures it. The deal Hasbro has with FunPub is that any market release must be decidedly different. Thrust, and assuming Dirge, are remolds, so it's clearly not a violation of that agreement. A straight repaint of Thundercracker will not be as clear cut..

this great news cos (ah at last, now I can type with both hands) Dirge is the only "Classics" Seeker I need. :) Even though I don't need Thundercracker, I do hope he gets released for Generations so that others who missed out on him can get one (since both previous Hasbro and Takara versions were limited exclusives).

Not sure if I'd buy a Generations Thundercracker if they released one though, cos there's really noone left to do (I don't think I want to buy another Deluxe to encourage Hasbro to give us obscure characters like Sunstorm, Slipstream etc. - as neat as they'd be)

P.S.: VERT - perhaps you could re-customise your previous customs into new characters? (e.g. Sunstorm, Slipstream - new coneheads)

Hmm I do recall reading some comments on this at TFW I think, but yeah, since the figures were expensive, not a lot bought it ( not to mention the figures were limited run as well. So that would equate to the whining and whinging about it less noticeable;)
