From his Blog (http://wildwords.wordpress.com/2010/06/14/end-of-the-road-2/), (legend) Transformers artist Andrew Wildman has commented on completing his latest, and possibly last, TFs comic artwork.

So. Is this the end of the road for Transformers and me? I did say that these would be my last pieces of Transformers artwork. An opportunity to draw a line under the whole Transformers thing. A final opportunity to depict some of the main characters the way that I would want to depict them.
Of course, there are some loose story ends from the old days that it would be great to tie up. Who knows. That opportunity may still occur

As a fan of the old era, I grew up with his artwork, and am so familiar with it, it would be sad if it were true that we would see no more TFs art from him.

Yeah, that would be sad. I love Wildman's art (as you can tell from my scribbles posted on the forum). I would understand though as he's been doing Transformers artwork for ages.

It's a shame that I didn't come to appreciate his art sooner. From what I now know, his linework was pretty good, but whoever did the inks made them lose their elegance and finesse.

Always sad when a great hangs up their brushes/boots etc.

Always liked the Wildman style, wish IDW could have gotten him to do more than covers sometimes.
