Wow, a bi-weekly Drift series to get all issues out fast, because they are bad, or because IDW want it out so we all can bask in the glory of Drift's backstory?

September is looking very unimpressive.

i think the "3rd faction angle" could be interesting.....

and the cover for TF:O#11 looks mighty interesting..

thundercracker with a scratched of decepticon logo and predacons...predacons in beast mode.... but then it is only a cover.. but then the cover alone is so much better then the most recent issue of ongoing

Looks interesting, might go and put a pre-order in. Do they have a limited cover for the first issue?

I think the rushing out of the Drift comic is probably pressure from Hasbro to help sell the toy. Or IDW cashing in on the new (in America) toy.

Drift has always been planned and announced to be a bi-monthly series, and I see this as just part of IDW's varying release schemes. From mini-series, one shots and now to the ongoing, a bi-monthly series seemed like an interesting step, and I guess why not?
I know people love to hate Drift, but doesn't seem very deserved for this mini.

I LOVE the cover for TF#11, looks great, hope the content of #9 and on is more impressive than #7-8.

I suppose, if they only expect about 7-10,000 copies sold with each issue these days, why not pump out more per month to increase overall sales/profit.

Im glad Thundercracker is now receiving his due character development (well hopefully). Somebody must've been reading thru a lot of fan sites and found this gripe... its always Starscream and yadayadayada getting the spotlight among the seekers ( well he is their leader). BUt ol TC has a lot of potential to explore/exploit since he is basically a "blank slate" - characterization wise. All there is to him is he is an ambivalent decepticon in his bio, but this has never been shown and fleshed out in any series or medium he appears in. His just.... there.

So this angle - IDW G1 Thundercracker = Armada Wheeljack is interesting and hopefully is tastefully handled by the writers.:)

this is what i hope, the end of all hail megatron was good (as far as TC Characterisation went) his struggle with the decepticon way megatron has created

i really hope they take what they have forward instead of turning him into another reimaging of character (like so many already)
