I REALLY don't care if hasbro does this for mass market. Getting it like this, I don't see how anyone would give a toss with a hasbro version. They arn't getting it like this, (boxed), that's for sure.

Can't wait for mine to arrive. The head size doesn't worry me as it does some people, but I hope that I get one that doesn't have any issues with the head and rotate gimmick.

The idea is still awesome but it could have been executed somewhat better - Specially the tiny head which we now know to be a factory mistake rather than a design choice - The original Sunstreaker/Sideswipe head was much larger than that.

Having said that, I am still enthralled by that awesome box.

I thought it was a good idea until I heard they were using the Sunstreaker mould again.They could at the very least have made him totally different from the knee down to make the alt mode unique while adding better transforming twin leg types. /rant

What they should have done is make double thumbed fists so that all that needs to be done is rotate them rather than pop them off for each robot mode. They also should have extended the ankle ball joints by making the post where the ball connects a bit longer (the base mold allows for this) to make the feet straight in the Punch mode legs for stability and aesthetic value.

Both are very simple mods and would have made a world of difference on the figure.

As mentioned, they had the right idea with the head but it was unfortunately made too small and they should have painted Punch's face silver.

I don't mind the purple on the back of the car as much as others but the number plate choice is horrible and kinda misses the covert point of the character.

I'd pay $50 tops for this toy. So looks like I'll pass (there's no way in hell I'd pay $200 for a freakin' Deluxe, I don't care how nice or exclusive it is... it's still just a deluxe). <---JMHO

I would go for up to $80 or so for the character and box but I am under no illusions on the quality of it. However it is still at the top of my list of wants at the moment but there is no way that I will pay Ebay prices for it.

Hopefully some 3rd party will make a proper head, double thumbed fists and proper ankles. That way at least it allows for the possibility of customizing one.

It's not. The Sunstreaker/Sideswipe head is much larger than the 'gimmick' head. The 'to accommodate the new head' is just something fans came up with to explain it which makes no sense from a design point of view as Sunstreaker's head is pretty large.

That Cyclonus sure is an ugly colour but the Punch looks nice.
