MP Grimlock To Be Released July 1st (US)

Reported over on TFW (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/masterpiece-grimlock-available-at-toys-r-us-on-july-1st-169988/), MP Grimlock is now being released in the US (TRU exclusive) on July 1st instead of after the San Diego Comic Con as previously reported.

Hopefully that will mean he will be hitting our shores around the same time, or even before if Generations is anything to go by :D

Hmm makes it harder to decide for me. I was planning to order one with a few other items from RK this week, with the dollar up to 87US cents.

What would be the RRP of Mp grimlock at TRU and what were the prices for the past MPs?

Just deciding whether to get this or Takara version- which is about 120 US.

Judging from normal prices of TRU which are bloody rip off, disregarding sales prices.

If that's the final robot mode, I'll definately keep Hasbro's in Dino mode and Takara's in robot. Ick.

UPDATE: Hasbro US may have missed the street date of July 1st, however MP Grimlock has now been sighted at a TRU store in the Philippines (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/generation-1-1/rawr-me-masterpiece-grimlock-in-philippines-170125/). With any luck, we should start to see him hitting our shores in the next month or two.

The only bad piece of news to accompany this is that he is selling for a massive US $97 (approx) compared to the RRP US $59.99.
