Wow, they took something evil and made it good. The guns are better than swords too.

It's nice and a must get as far as I'm concerned but I think the Drift version is better.

Meh, this does nothing for me. I agree that Animated Blurr is better.

Although I still dont know what Generations Drift is like, Guess Ill find out next month.

I agree with what others are saying about preferring Animated Blurr. The thing I love about Animated Blurr's robot mode is that it's slick, thin and streamlined -- built for speed (like a thoroughbred racehorse); and G1 Blurr is lanky too.
The problem with Drift's legs is that they're el Chunko. (-_-) I also still don't like how the shins don't lock in securely on Drift either. I hope they address that for Blurr.

It looks reasonably like his appearance in the first run of Ongoing (although not spot on)

I like the look of it more than Animated Blurr (which is saying a bit really seeing as Blurr is probably my favourite figure from that line), possibly for the reason that he doesn't come with a chainsaw shield instead of guns (in saying that I understand that the original Blurr made a shield from its front end like Animated). That and I like realistic looking alt modes.

I agree Animated blurr was a better homage. The colour on the generation toy are great and the alt mode is nice but I don't think thye headsculpt is G1-accurate enough. At any rate i'll still buy the toy. The mold is interestign and since I have no interest in drift as a character I'll have to get Blurr to own the mold.

I might end up getting 2 of Blurr.
1. as my Classicsverse Blurr
2. for a kitbash project :)

As a robot mode it stands up pretty well because of the nice head sculpt and good paint job, though the shoulders are a bit clunky.
For me the car mode is all wrong for Blurr. It says 'mid-range-sports-car' when Blurr should say 'fastest-car-of-all-time'.

I'd have thought Blurr deserved a little better than being a Drift repaint, to be frank.

I'd have thought that the character previously used by the mold was irrelevant, to be frank

Wow everyone wants to be Frank... Well to save confusion I'll be Bill and you guys can be Frank. So who is Frank 1 and who is Frank 2?:p

I disagree with Frank, Blurr and Drift go together perfectly, there both as fast as lightning and even more annoying. All we need is generations Wheelie and the circle is complete.:D

The head mould harkens back to his design from the All Hail Megatron Saga (which I for one thought was really cool) which was later changed by Don Fig in the ongoing.
Back in AHM Coda (Perceptor) there's a panel where we've got both Drift and Blurr playing some sort of game, and the similarity between the two is quite striking. I really like this remould, and I really like the mentality behind it.

like this one, especially for the torso section and portrait shots - looks like he stepped outta the pages of recent comics (except when he's in cybertronian mode...)

Even the WFC Cliffjumper will have a new head. We only know this because they fudged up the instructions for BB :p

i hope they put blurr into WFC as a dlc character :)

Kudos also for replacing the sword and knives with guns. I'm appreciative of the effort even though I would've preferred a whole new mould. I hope they fix the shin-lock problem from the Drift toy.
